And doing that was a sobering experience..... More than a bot a week when i look at the full year. Makes me think that i'm really going to have to trim the collection again as things aren't getting the attention they deserve before becoming shelf statues. And that's not counting the stuff that i've bought this year and sold on. There was a fair amount of that during the first half of the year when i had a collection cull.

Also doesn't include any of the comic related stuff like catching up on old issues and getting original pages.

Got to agree with you on Shockwave. Didn't think I'd like him at all but found a cheap(ish) second hand one on eBay and I've got to say - he looks really good! Even that lavender colour (which was the main thing putting me off) looks really good in person!

Least favourite has got to be MP Ratchet - I just can't love him no matter how hard I try. It's like everything about him is just SLIGHTLY off... (Don't really mind about the hip skirts though, so that's weird I guess, as that seems to be one of the main criticisms.)

 

Mate! These are wonderful. Seen them all but Shockwave on your Flickr and they look unreal together.
I ended up selling my Shockwave but really would have had second thoughts it it looked like that. Amazing what a different paintjob does to a figure.

Does make a massive difference, having now all three MP shockys in hand.Quakewave was good for it's time, Quakeblast was bang for buck but I could not for the life of me get him looking dynamic with his legs spread out, if he had more ankle tilt it would of stayed but with the new deco on Lazerwave,coupled with the aesthetics and transformation it has to be the winner of the three .

I have heard each limb is going to be 10-12 inches long  

 

Well they are not that much bigger but the helicopter is 12 inches in length in helicopter mode from gun tip to tail tip but the orignal is 10" already they seem to be 20% bigger than the original versions from the 2 i've seen so far. So that would make Swindle say about 21cm tall instead of 17.5cm.

 

That combine mode is going to be a brute(cus)

I love the extra paintwork on the TT version - Hasbros looks unfinished by comparison.

......Which is why I'm going to keep whining for a TT Triggerhappy, Hot Rod and Getaway.

 

Hmm, the only thing that bugs me about the legends one is that the brown around the canopy is broken up by a bit of beige whereas the Hasbro one isn't.

 

They really are lovely shots. Always amazed at how crisp your stuff is.

The two things that really improve the Takara version for me is the paint on the Titan Master and on the wheel rims. So much detail in both of these that just gets lost when they're unpainted.
