    Masterpiece Decepticon G1 collection

    Decepticon collection V7.jpg

I finally got around to completing this shelf how I wanted it. Despotron was the final piece.
Now purely main G1 related stuff. Only changes I can see is maybe a Megatron switch and the new OX Tapes. Although fitting Laserbeak in will be hard.
Next up is to try and sort the Movie and random shelf.
What dya think? The thumbnails are some of the changes it's had over the years.

    P.S: @Vanessa - Everything has Reprolabels ;)

All the combiner parts came with Sideload originally. So it will depend if they have made those first.
Not sure if they have released that yet or not?

    Vanessa, dee,
When I refer to "geewunners" I'm really referring to the whiny fans that want every single new release to be a G1 homage, I saw plenty of evidence of those around the web when Primal & then Cheetor were announced but I don't think either of you fall into that category so I hope you didn't think I was being malicious or anything.

    banjoted,
Agreed on Weirdwolf. It seems Fans Toys are moving into Takara territory with the extreme blockyness and bland detailing.

The more I see of it, the less I like it and I'm more intrested in getting the Unique Toys Legends version to go alongside the Takara version of the TR mold.

I'll still get FT Grimlock as I don't want an oversized MP08 and don't like Giga Power's aesthetic but after that I think I'll just start putting a bit of cash on one side for Omega Supreme and leave it at that....unless they move into Beast Wars and show they can do the organic alt modes from series 1.

All this talk of Wave 3, and I still have 0 Wave 2s. Unless you count Apeface and Skytread. :lol  All I'm really interested in for Wave 3 is the Titan Masters anyway. Everything else I pick up is a bonus.

    Nice haul from Kapow today:

And Lonewolf turned up from Motorthing. I was fully prepared for him to be proper shit, but he's actually pretty alright. Certainly an improvement over CW MM in combined mode, at least.

I love the fact that we now have a deaths head figure at a decent size/scale and one that transforms & has an alt mode which, to boot, also happens to look rather cool!

Edit: Oops, sorry for double post.

This is how I feel about wave 3. I am chuffed we got all the hm's in titans returns and I will probably pick up the Titan masters for shits n giggles but I am likely to be more selective about what I pick up here on out... tempted by gnaw (and twinferno looks good) but otherwise not that bothered about the rest of the wave. Roll on wave 4 - Sky Shadow and Broadside both look cool.

Yes it is and yes it is! Thanks to you and @gtf316 for the recommendation! Only 16 daze from Far Cathay too!

I think re-reading some old Budiansky tales will be in order. :)

Thanks for the offer but i think it's beyond a decent repair. Took a pic when i was home for lunch and it's a really small piece that's snapped.

    Nope-edy nope nope.

That is really nice, fantastic displays there.

You sure it's safe posting a pic of Goldbug when Death's Head is just a few posts above him. He may be back for seconds.

You don't have very much luck with IF do you?

I have new IF soundwave thighs which should coming soon and hopefully fit like a charm, if they fit immediately you can have my old sw thighs... If you can take that piece off slag send it to me and i will see if i can shapways a replacement, it is an option for you.

That is a thin and awkwardly placed piece. In similar circs I would actually melt it back on with a hot blade and then cover it with a dab of SuperGlue when cool. Good luck with it.

Does anyone have a Transformers Prime First Edition Cliffjumper I can buy?
