That picture is extremely enabling, things would taste so much better covered in Gravy!! What doesn't ?

Howdy Jazzclub - great to hear your story - it kinda echoed mine, with LSOTW comic and generations Springer being my "re-entry" drugs of choice!

My coming back to the fold was all down to Optimus Primal. That toy is stupidly good.

I've no interest in the Prowl head and I'm not sold on the wider shoulders unless there's some filler bits for the torso. The rest looks good though.

Great read and totally agree, one huge hulking figure that's just so much fun to play about with. Now go buy some hands for MP Magnus.

    Awesome review again Napalm.

Welcome Jazzclub, I also only found out about the Masterpiece line last year and that is what i will be sticking to, the one exception being Devastator!

Thanks Underlord and thanks everyone for the very warm welcome.

Well... i'm enjoying masterforce more than headmasters. Wasn't impressed with
how Rodimus just left the series like that and he came across as a little weak.
Towards the end I couldn't wait for it to finish. Its Victory that i'm most looking forward to. One thing's for sure, the animation is so much better on the Japanese cartoons than on the snub ones. I guess they had to rush them out to get the toys to market or something.

Thanks to everyone for the Fallout 3 advice too. Oh it's time to set aside time I don't have to make way for time play to games I don't have time for. Winning? I will be.

So, in other news, this happened.

Finally got around to transforming this guy. It was actually pretty easy... everything clipped and pegged in exactly as it should, and I don't know if it's because I've become more accustomed to transforming my MP-9, but it really wasn't as big a deal as I thought it would be. Also, the knees are still in one piece!

Welp, been a while since I've been around these old stomping grounds, I'm sure I was greatly missed (...what do you mean "who are you?").

Also yes, Masterforce is the best of the Japanese trilogy, to whoever was talking about that. Really feels like a precursor to the Brave series, kind of a mash-up of Transformers and more traditional robot anime. Interesting to think that without Masterforce we'd never have Gaogaigar huh? Victory's cool too though, kind of like a heavily stylised version of G1, nice send-off to the franchise before they went all CGI and Munky and so forth. I seem to be forgetting something between Victory and Beast Wars though...

Oh, Zone. Always forget about Zone. Its...

    ...acceptable.

Insect Galactus, or Violen Jiger or whatever, and his pirate combiner squad (seriously) are cool, nice to see the micromasters get some show time for all of Zone's many episodes. Or just the one. Getting cancelled after a single episode is pretty embarrassing but apparently it was a VHS OVA thing sold in toy stores? The human characters are really damn gay though. Like I'm not judging you know, got nothing against that, but damn those kids are gay. I guess they were going for the yaoi fanbait demographic, which I'd prefer a childrens show like Transformers not do to be honest, but if blatantly homosexual tweens are your thing then fair enough.

Also I got toys. TOYS. Heres a selection of them.

Combiner Wars Starscream. Dissapointed he had no cape, so I got a sheet of satin for like 2 quid off ebay and made one (seriously, do this). Nice figure though, wasn't even aware he was out until I saw him at LFCC.

Kyoko from Madoka Magica. This things called a Cu-Poche, new line by Kotobukiya, kind of a rival to Nendoroids, but more posable. Has magnets in her feet for gravity defying action. Kawaii as shit.

MP Bumbles: Bling edition. Better than the normal version, and that was already fucking amazing. Jetpack is a novelty at best, I put it on the old one.

Also, Sayla is best girl. Fuck your moe shit, class of '79 rules. Or 0079 at least.

Also preordered this sexy beast because I love Animal Crossing AND I'm a consumer whore.

You sir are a braver man than I.

Also I both love and hate your sig pic, its painful seeing a reminder of all those characters who'll never get MPs. You'll get your turn one day Kup, one day...

Doing exactly the same, really excited for this one too. Going to be a heck of a wait!

    Loving the review

It is a great game, well worth a play. First time I did everything and completed everything, second time through I did what I wanted, killed people who annoyed. me in the first one straight off uttering "take that f*cker!". Felt great afterwards.

Oh, and you can have a dog companion, what more could a man ask for!

As much as I have no interest in the black MP09, he does look sweet. Tempted but not really for me. He does look stunning though

    Welcome Mr. Jazzyclub!
    Nice!

Also liking that Red Grimlock, James. Have no idea about why he's red though...?

It sure has been the day of the Devastator. I haven't had chance to combine mine, been busy with DIY.

Thank you Jon, Hook sure does have presence, I agree. I'm biased towards Bonecrusher though.
Going to read your part 2 review next.

    No problem :)

    Nice haul/selection.
You've actually made me sit up and see that Leader Starscream in a whole new light, he looks very buyable!
Cape looks wicked, nice work on that!

I got Blingbee just today as well, absolutely love him.
Pics to come later in the nightwatch!
