That is actually rather tempting and, having also seen the prices on ebay, very reasonable too! I am going to keep looking to try and pick up the missing bits for now, but should I prove unsuccessful I will bear you in mind should you not have sold him by then!

Using the remaining unused modded red dino-eye from the Slash sticker set (because on first attempt you managed to flick the other one into infinity or beyond) to give Quickswitch a "proper" V-crest: Priceless

So my Studio Series Dropkick arrived from Kapow. Initial thoughts?

    20181108_205926.jpg

HORRIBLY flimsy robot mode. Lacking articulation. Nice colours. Very light and plastic feels very cheap. Good colours. Looks nice and unique. Weird arm kibble.

    20181108_203735.jpg

Transformation is involved and unique. A little bit too fiddly to be amazingly satisfying at least on a first go. The chopper mode looks fantastic but feels too small. This feels like it should ha've been a voyagers. However it is really solid once the transformation is done.

On an initial impression, might be the first true duffer of the Studio Series line? Doesn't feel worth the £23 I paid for from Kapow. I'll do a proper review this weekend.

Mrs Toadimus is trying to get me to decide what I want to do for my 40th in February. I have no idea, other than to start ageing backwards. Or possibly get horrendously drunk...

(I'm obviously pushing for a large robot as part of the whole thing!)

@Lothar Hex yeah something made me hold off on pulling the trigger on Dropkick, for exactly the reasons you describe with your experience.

So far the studio series is a bit of a mixed experience for me...Blackout did not quite do it for me, but Stinger is an absolute joy. I used to think that with smaller figures there's fewer margins of error with loose parts, and if a joint is loose it won't hold a lot of weight anyway, but what if the design itself is a bit...lanky? Hmmm.

Does anybody here fancy a UT Challenger [AoE MP Movie Prime]? Transformed a couple of times...just not doing much for me.

So, after finding only fat power rangers in my home bargains, I decided to order Rippersnapper from Amazon instead. Abominus should have both arms by the end of the year! Yay!

Just transformed SS Blackout back to robot mode while watching netflix. My word, I'm in love with his head sculpt.

At this moment in time I'm choosing astonishment that it's actually happening. When it rocks up in 8 months though, I reckon your choice of menu is absolutely dish of the fucking day.

Does anyone know if anywhere in the UK other than Kapow will be stocking Siege Flywheels (... or Skytread as he seems to be called now)?

I asked my brother to get him for me for Christmas a while back, and even gave him the link to Kapow, but being the useless tit that he is, he's now missed it. The only other place I've seen it is on Ebay, but the price is ridiculous.

Keep an eye out on Kapow, there may be general stock once all pre-orders have been sent out.

Is that the final figure or someone's Photoshop?

I ask as in the initial grey pics the proportions of the head made it look more like Brawn than Gears.
