I was thinking "he looks Micromaster-y" myself buuuuuuut on closer inspection it seems a bit odd he's got absolutely no vehicle kibble on his arms which is pretty rare for a Micromaster, hmmmm...

Right? My first thought was that he was a member of one of the Micromaster Combiner Teams, which might account for less obvious kibble if it's all on the somewhat obscured backpack bit, but a quick look on tfwiki and I'm still drawing a blank; he looks nowt like any of those teams.
    Hmm indeed CH, hmm indeed!

@Seeaich - completely agree, if it wasn't for the fact that Siege is bringing the Micromasters back, I'd have sworn it was a titanmaster - but I do seem to recall that the Trainbot micormasters had a similar fecking huge backpack and relatively clean arms

I mean I'm probably 100000000 miles from the truth, but that's what it looks like to me...

I had a wee look at the trainguys, and the other Micromaster Combiners, but I cannot see a decent match on this guy's colourscheme and looks. VEXING!!! Anybody want to take a look and see if they can see something obvious I'm missing?

I'm probabaly being way too rigid in my thinking here. I'll put that down to being manic while I do the admin for the exam board.

Mmmmmmm........ Love those sun highlights on him.

I think it's because you're posting videos. Folks don't have time or the inclination to watch videos, they prefer text based replies that they can read through at leisure. However, without reading through the whole thread, i do feel how you will remember the idw verse is just as valid as anyone else. After all, you are part of the fandom. No one can say how the fandom on tye whole will remember idw without taking input from many, many fans.

ok, I've been out for a walk at lunch - here's a thought that might fit for the mystery Siege bot...

    ready?

    sure??

Krunk, maybe? - right colours, general backpack works...

    I'm over-thinking this, right?

please someone tell me I'm over-thinking it...

I'm still on board for a Voyager Springer. Part of me wonders if he'll be a new mold, or if he'll be a really good remold of Soundwave or something mad like that - as he's the only 'triple changer' We've seen.

    Amazing! Congratulations dude.

It might happen! Maybe much later into the line, but if Mirage can get an update so soon after his CW figure, why not Sunstreaker?

I never considered that, but it would work.

Well I'm a bit too young and too Northern based to confirm this, but that is certainly what my town felt like in the 90s :p

I have renewed hope for just this! Those big powered guys look great. I know Dai Atlas is meant to be the big draw, but the other two blocks are looking sharp.

I never realized how much sense that made until now. Bin Lorry for the Torso!

I'm 100% wrong about this. I really am. But, at first glance I thought that might be Omega Supreme's head on the back.

Most likely it is one of the Battlemasters.

It is such a very characterful head and unique torso styling one feels one should recognise it, really puts a bod in mind of a 'Bot recolour of a 'Con but NOPE! I got nothin'.
Instead of breaking my brain I decided to take full advantage of this frankly glorious morning off by getting out-of-doors whilst I can and bumping a couple of projects along a stage.
    Firstly for BASH get SMAAAAASH!
Or rather a BASH(er) *for* SMASH!

Nice and Red for Dinobot Energon Weapon now to boot!
It's really weird for some reason as you dye, unless you have a copy of the original object undyed to hand, it's really hard to tell if the colour is shifting. At first it seemed to be staying orange, I don't know if it's something to do with perception in relation to how intense the dye's own colour by contrast to the objects changing tone or if it's because your brain has already filed it under 'orange things'. Even when it had noticeably shifted red I could see an "orangeyness", if ayone else tries dyeing please let me know if you notice that oddness, yeah?
    Anyway, Red Energo(n) Mace FTW!!!

Also nutted up and braved dipping this fella!
    DSC_0154.JPG
The lesson here for anyone else who may wish to dye a Cloudburst's red bits black is: Dunk 'em in alcohol to leach out some of the red colouring in it as that apparently makes it more porous. The arms and gunbarrels that haven't ha the dipping treatment only went burgundy (actually a bit darker in-hand than in the picture above). Plus, as feared, a bit of the milliput resculpting came off however it was only one knee fin that came off in a single intact piece that superglued right back on! *PHEW!!!*
Anyway the main body's a nice ebony and the burgundy bits can be fixed with paint! POTP OG1 Wave 1 Autobot Pretender crew here I come!

    Cheers, Bud! :thumb

Yeah he does have a Huffer-ish vibe/silhouette but the arms seem too square at the forearm and, for me, the pink "earmuffs" on his helmet and how squat/round it is don't say "Huffer".
I wonder when we'll find out? The page/s it was on do seem to have been pulled, I just get a 'Page Not Found' on both the source links?
