G2 Cyberjets are the pinnacle of jet transformers. I feel I may have said this before on more than one occasion. But they are amazing. The winning details for me are the thruster feet that turn sideways and the weird hand canon, both of which combined mean there isn't an obvious bot hanging off the bottom. All this in a 30 second transformation! Simply untouchable.

Black shadow is a handsome beast. Mines still boxed in case I need to sell him . Can't decide if he makes more sense than deluxe BS when scaling with liokaiser. @Underlord I feel you may the answers

He is glorious! I can feel the pangs. Regret over selling all my IF guys. Redemption found through buying new ones ... Oh dear

First off, sell some bots then track down this guy

Ok, so here's what seems didn't survive the move/divorce.

    G1 Ultra Magnus
Weird Classics spinning punch tank Megatron
Animated Deluxe Prowl, Bumblebee, Blackarachnia and Optimus Prime
    RTS G2 Prime
    ROTF Deluxe Starscream and Thundercracker
    WFC OP
    G1 Quickmix
    G1 Inferno
    G1 First Aid
    G2 Terradive
    G2 Eagle Eye

My reissue G1 Omega also has battery leak damage.

All in all, things could be far worse. I suspect I'll pick these guys up as I go along. At the moment I'm just grateful to have back what I have.

I ate myself into a cake coma, which is why I've been AWOL for the past week. We still have cake left. I may die of cake.

(Now all I can think of is Brass Eye.)

I have no new robots to report. I did get the DC Signature Series Darwyn Cooke Supergirl for £6.99 from Home Bargains though. I now have Streaky & Krypto figures!

It's snowing here, and I have to venture out later for an eye test. I also have the remnants of a migraine, so maybe the eye test is a bad idea.

(Apologies for being a bit disjointed this morning - I lose all cohesion in the wake of migraines...)

Re: couriers or more accurately Hermes; is it normal for them to hold on to a parcel for a week with no sign of it being delivered?

I'm waiting on a package from Sports Direct and it's been at my 'local depot' since the 26th March. Is it worth giving them a call or will I be pissing against the wind by doing so?

Ouch! That sounds painful @Seeaich Hope you can heal up quickly. You must always be careful when cutting. Always be slow and steady, even if you don't cut yourself, you may cut the figure wrong and then you're screwed.

Sorry to hear that @Toadimus Prime. Been there myself with migraines. They got so bad and regular, almost every other day, i ended up going the doctors. He gave me some neck stretches to do that have helped stop them. Just take it easy, after migraines is always a funny time mentally.

    Yowch! Hope you're alright chief!

Fuck! They look bloody good together. I know everyone loved the TR Blackshadow, not least because he scaled well with his Phase Six bruths, but that old deluxe mold is still the fucking bomb as far as I'm concerned. Bloody great design. It just gets everything spot on. let's hope the gimmick free WfC stuff is as good as this!

Oh Landmine, how you disappoint me! When I was little I thought Landmine was the Autobot Pretender I liked the best. Turned out it was actually Waverider. Now, I never owned any of the Pretenders. '88 was the year when I really stopped buying Transformers. Sure I still got some, but only little ones that didn't require much commitment, like the odd Sparkabot or Firecon here and there. But my friends had some Pretenders, namely Cloudburst, Waverider, and Submarauder. Perhaps it was because he was the unknown one. Perhaps it was because he was the land vehicle. I'd always been a bit obsessed with the 'land dude' since the days of Jake Rockwell in Centurions.

I didn't actually get him until I was in my mid to late 30's. Man, was I disappointed. He looks like the limpest and lamest of the three '88 Autobot Pretenders. His big red clown shoes. Those lame arms that don't really have hands (he got such a raw deal with having a weapon that tabbed in at the side. There's no need for it either. A smaller tab behind the large hande would work just as well as these side tabs.). The colour scheme is uninspiring too. Maybe it's just my version, but the paint is laid on so thick on his face that his features become indistinct. I guess the shell isn't that awful, but he has the squarest helmet of all three of them...and I'm a petty man, so instantly this becomes the worst Autobot shell.

I thought that PotP Landmine would be a simple redeco of Metalhawk. Obviously I wasn't looking closely. It was a nice surprise to get him in hand and see that he's got a whole new chest plate and helmet. It's really made me warm to him more. I actually do like this guy a lot. A surprising amount. I'm a sucker for a decoy suit where you can clearly see the Prime Master face peeking out and this yellow is deeper and more satisfying than the original. I'm incredibly happy to see a paint app on the Prime Master. A tiny little dash of yellow does so much to make this guy stand out a little.
