I think it's something that'll become less of an issue if I can make myself busier as I'll be away from my computer more often. Which isn't to say I won't still have thoughts about what I "should" have done by now when I'm out and about as there's all kinds of little things that can get me thinking like that but it tends to bother me most when I'm stuck at home.

Despite all the little doubts about everything that I'm trying to get out of my head I'm looking forward to the ferret event on Sunday and there's also the group in Derby again next Tuesday so if I can start going to the gym again as well that'll be a decent start to getting things improved.

Most of my steak handling at present involves chopping it up into small chunks and feeding it raw to my ferrets every day, they're a pretty good alarm clock as they start scraping their claws on the bars of the cage at the same time every morning

I have given (and continue to) serious consideration to quitting my job today and looking for something else entirely.

I am sick to effing death of shiny arse bean counters second guessing every effing decision I make with their perfect hindsight, when they’ve never even worked on the shop floor. They are clueless.

Yes, there are issues in my industry as a whole, yes I’m not the only one under pressure but I have strived to do the best job I can in the most professional way and now they are taking the piss, even by thier shoddy standards.

I have had quite literally one of the worst shifts I’ve ever had and was quite close to telling our ‘regional’ manager a few home truths. Common sense (and a colleague) got the better of me. Let’s see what happens when I walk in tomorrow.

I feel your pain. When I worked in Marksies the upper management twonks who never set foot on the shop floor were always redesigning the layout without factoring in such things as measuring the racks with stock actually on them and not pissing the lunchtime customers who don't have time to hunt around the floor for where you moved the fucking underwear to because 'if they have to browse they may buy something else'. Fucknuts.

 

It is mate! Aside from the crotch/waist area I still can't figure out where the diecast is though. CW Prime or Motormaster would have been a better fit for 'bot mode, but the alt-mode wouldn't work at all.

 

I'm totally digging the way you've gone with it man. I may need to pilfer that idea at a later date if you don't mind.
