Hoo, BOY! Yeeeeeeeeah. Very glad I'm not feeling him like I do Max.

It's gotta be, you'd think, but of those easy remouldings of Roddy, Kup & Breakaway into Pointblank, Crosshairs & Lightfoot we hear nothing. Fings crossed though.

Just been on the dog n' bone to The 'Farce again as the tracking sez "held awaiting payment" when I bin done dagblame paid already consarn it, and the lovely lady of a certain age at the other end couldn't have been more helpful, it did indeed indicate the requirement of payment but at her end she could see it had been paid and also offered to send a reminder to get it out for deliver tomorrow, bless 'er cotton socks. So it seems even within the "Farce there are still some good 'uns!
Now to go all Brad Pitt at the end of Se7en...

So picked the boy up from school and we've spent the last 40 minutes transforming Big Spring, putting a reprolabel on him, and rolling wheeled helicopter mode to each other in the living room (thanks for that tip in the review @incapable hulk ).

Now it's time to get his footy kit as he's got his trial training session with Solihull Moors at 6pm.

Big Spring though - that's really is how a 3P should do it right IMO - playable, poseable, fluid and uncomplicated transformation, and at a great price to boot.

I'll be getting their Galvatron as a stand in at the very least. If all else fails I can give him to my boy if TT unveil a superior version. But definitely, more like this.

Fellow Nonnef Bulk Buy chaps you'll find the final price including UK P&P in the relevant conversations!

@incapable hulk If you're interested in the set and want the final price, Liam, drop me a PM/Convo!

Grand max a straight repaint? And for how much? Think I am lucky that it doesn't appeal.

Will probably go for greatshot or whoever he is, but will wait for Kapow. Mall exclusives are always cheaper from Kapow once shipping is added.

Speaking of Kapow, did they ever actually get Slugslinger in?

I think they've (wisely IMHO) skipped him, and just offered Legend Sluggy instead.

It's ID Toys that listed him for £34.99 a pop.

I think they will stick to the Unite Warriors branding but perhaps they won't. I am just keen to buy it but every time I consider buying the Hasbro version a little Computron sounding voice tells me that the probability of Takara doing their own is reasonable.

I'm not gonna lie... there's a hint of a green eyed monster over here. I've always liked Optimal Optimus best out of all his Beast Wars incarnations but with the one I bought back in the day, I stripped the battery hatch screw which meant I never saw it lit. I ended up selling it much later (a good few years ago now) and I have always had a twinge of regret.

It's something I may go back and revisit one day... maybe.

Really glad you are enjoying Soundwave. It was rotting in a box being unloved at my place :(

I nearly took you up on that Soundwave, as at some point I want to try and fix the crappy transformation hinge on my Galaxy Force version, but cannae be buggered right now.

Also look at these two boys!

    IMG_0847.JPG
Nitro Zeus had this ugly lump where a head should be? Very strange. Big yellow dot in the middle too. Anyway, I put it to one side and employed Apeface, my go-to guy.

In all honesty the head I think I want is either Thunderwing (good luck finding one) or Scorponok (if Kapow can get Grotusque in stock). The little ab-claws make it seem like an oddly suitable body for old Scorps.

If the Siege box set turns up okay, I feel my resolve to wait for a sale price Zeus will fail and I'll kave on a Kapow purchase. Especially as I now know I can get my hands on a Mr. Hobby Metallic Green!

I've not transformed him yet. The instructions claim 30+ steps soooo... something for another day. Also Jetfire didn't come with instructions, being from the Revolution box and all, so he'll also be a challenge.

It's been bugging me for ages trying to work it out what is off about TR/LG Kup. Turns out I miss the sleeveless hoodie look of the G1 toy and animation model.

Deffo recommend having a peek on Youtube at some review transforms of Jetfire before attempting, the jet intake and nosecone bit of transformation to and from jet mode can be a bit scary. At least it was for me the first couple of times.
