It does make one wonder what gives when Big Evil can ship deluxes, sometimes even in oversized boxes, for 4 or 5 quid?!

Yeah, could be. Doubt it tho'. Oh well I'm too tired to go there again and be angry, tomorrow'll be another day.
And it is LG Kup & Rodders for me too haha.
And Gnaw. Those... Bastards. Nobody should be messing with my Gnaw.

Perhaps the issue is that Gnaw has chewed his was out of the package and currently running amok in the post-office stock room?

That. Add Ages 3 and Up to that level of postal fuckery too. Would not order from either again. Which in the case of the TFCC is moot. Too soon?

I empathise with Postal Angst - My Japan ordered Diabattles is still out there and it's now a calander month without an update. No idea if that is par for the course now or I should be doing something. Like declaring War.

TR Arcee is properly lovely, it's somehow appropriate that a mold that started out as a Male Character she now totally owns.

So, will Gotusque end up at KapIDtoys? Somebody will have asked already.......

Hmmm, if I can bring myself to ignore the price, this TR Arcee is super nice. I mean, it was never going to be bad being based on such an excellent mold, but even so, she's nicer than I expected. The headsculpt is terrific. I know I'm likely alone in this sentiment, but I would happily do without the flash box and extra sodding Titan Master, however. I enjoy all of your enthusiasm about such things but, honestly, I personally just could not give fewer fucks about these tiny figures - just give me the sodding main figure and a weapon in some bubble wrap and knock some off the price! Not sure whether I'll go for Grotesque. The completionist in me would like to but I shall admit I was not a fan of the Twinferno mold. And again, no interest in the extra head. Will likely be enabled, however!

To clarify, I understand Big Evil work on the assumption of "workers' rights, what're those?" and it's not a Hasblow sux for not doing the same, I'll happily spend £10-£15quid extra on a figure I really want's price but like you say, @Maz, another $30/£27/28 is one heck of a punch to the pocket.

My wallet could do with it being an Amazon Exclusive, he replied hypocritically. ;)
Actually having seen the paintwork on Fengul alone, I reckon he's worth the £35 at least for me.

Some pretty shocking paint blemishes on my Arcee, especially for such an expensive deluxe:

Would assume Kapow/ID would get Grotesque in - at least I certainly hope they will - haven't seen anything from them, but I'm sure Andy'll do what he can, the champ that he is...
off the back of the old Neon Hamster's reveal, I took the plunge for TR Arcee too - price isn't horrific (in relation to RRP, I suppose) and it's the best tooling of the deluxes by a distance - will be my 4th example of the mould (Blurr/Brainstorm/Nautica) and cannot wait for her to turn up ( Monday or Tuesday, I reckon)

edit - just saw @Seeaich's post - good news!

Oooh, ouch! I hope that's not an indication her white paint apps are as vulnerable as Gen. Voyager Brainstorm's teal ones!

I can't take any credit, mate, it's thanks to @payres due diligence, I'm just a disseminator!
Er, wait that sounds a bit disturbingly sexu-

EDIT: Too late, clicked reply too soon! ;)

A fleck of white came off her somewhere during the first transformation. The paint is pretty weak is a few spots to be honest.

Oh that is shocking :(  I know it is expensive for us - near 60 quid for me - but at point of sale they were $25 or so, right? Not so much more than retail deluxes I guess. Mine also has some paint missing on the rear rockets, but nothing like that. Any chance you could get a replacement?

    All the best

Got my Mr. Hobby white at the ready.
Why did it have to be white, I hate painting white!

Honestly, shit has to get real bad (like Klaatu's broken leg or Concrete's duplicate arms) before I can indulge the hassle of a replacement. As it's white it would be a fairly easy sort if I find myself sufficiently bothered by it I guess.

Double post but, hey, EAT ME.

On the subject of white paint, my KO MP-10U (again, EAT ME) also has a pretty big blemish on the front of the cab (which the seller I got it from was totally honest about). Many of you lot are wonderfully creative with paint and stuff - how would a customising noob such as myself go about touching up white paint on a figure? What sort of paint would I use and what tools would I need?

Oh well, I guess I have enough to wait until Gnaw &co arrived.

    This haul !

Kev, you were right, DX9 Powerlad is hard to not handle ! Love him !
Maz, same to you, I adore this Whirl, much more than I thought I would. Like, really. I don't even care he's not 100% MTMTE accurate, he's awesome like that ! A lot of personality, a great toy, already in my top.

    Thank you guys <3

And what about Contact Shot ? It took SO long for me to finally get him ! And boy I'm not disappointed. What a looker ! Amazing job from Maketoy once again, couldn't be happier.

Ok I could, but you get it.

Glad you like Turben, it's a great figure and totally what 3P should regularly be giving us in terms of quality and accessibility - for fun that is.

    Sureshot? POINTBLANK!

Congrats on Contactshot, though, he's still an absolute diamond to me and my favourite 3P figure of the year. And this has been the best year for 3P in my collection, certainly.

    All the best
    Maz

Oh man, I realise my mistake juuuuust right now, I'm so tired... Poor Pointblank!
Completely agree about Turben. I already spent like two or three hours with him... Tuesday night ? I think it was tuesday. I had some time and couldn't wait to see what he was about.
So happy to see that I was wrong to pass on him initially. I could do with claws but even then, he's great like that. He's full of character, he IS Whirl alright. And with a lot of good quality.

As for Contactshot... Yeah, that. Absolutely. When MT make a great figure... Time could do nothing against it ! I mean, I just have to look at their Chromedome to be sure of that.
So with something as good as their Pointblank ? Yeah, I could see him being the best of 2017.
Sacrés Maketoys, ONE figure (for now) from them this year and it's a HIT.

    Cheers man !

Snapped up Big Spring from @MyTea Boc - mainly due to the positive vibes from in here (MT, IH, and Banjoted among the usual suspects).

Can't wait to put him with Magnus, Hot Rod and Grimlock-riding Wheelie!

Turben is STILL hanging in there as My FOY but Contact Shot, Downbeat and Tyrantron will no doubt have words to say about that before years end. And Bridgewatcher. And TR Misfire. And.........there's epic stuff still to come.

You get the Picture. And unless Sunstreaker greatly exceeds expectations it won't have a single MP in it.
