I think we are both on the hook for future Diaclone Reboot stuff but following on from yesterday's Most Expensive, Big Powered is costing me £180 from Japan. I don't think even if they make a Great Robot Base/Fortress X level mech in future I could go over that price level - however much I love the product. Big Powered is definitely my price limit.

It'll mean I'm likely NOT to have a complete new Diaclone collection but I'll have to live with that, the same way I'll cope with not owning a Bugatti Veyron.

Managed to hopefully score a cheap Takara Skullsmasher today. Never owned a Takara before so I'm excited to see the difference.

Where as I'm quite taken with the other big fella, Allen. What a ridiculous name for a tf! Disclaimer: I have nothing against more orthodox uses of the name Allen.

Yeah I must admit, if Allen is some deep, dark pop-culture ref then it still sailed several miles over my head.

And as is customary with the chaotic way the 3P section works I've just noticed there will be a Maketoys Cross Dimension Galvatron. Now THAT is something I can get behind. And with Thunder preordered I'm going to end up going back to buy Striker and Rioter aren't I? Because.

You Bastards Maketoys, you knew this would happen. Feckers.

This guy is majestic! I really must sort some Autobot symbols out for Pheonix, Allen & Sunsurge. I know I have some somewhere...

He is really sweet isn't he :)

    Thunder Erebus4.jpg

TFCon. Loving the MakeToys stuff. Glad to see Headmasters back on track
I also wondered how they had time to make up Crack and Warp Meteor samples if they weren't sure they were going to make him?

Not feeling the MMC stuff. Will have to see more later.
Ocular Max Frenzy and Rumble are good but still quite tall. Cliffjumper looks pretty sweet.
Using Geoff Senior for Fans Hobby trailers of their Scourge and G2 Optimus is excellent.
XTB Menasor looking shitter all the time. May just get UT despite the prices.

Mine has been living unloved on top of the living room shelves for a while. Think you may have just made me take him down and throw him in the lightbox later!

Not that i advocate KOing things (just ignore that post of mine above....) but can you imagine how good someone like Wei Jiang would make those Constructicons. Such good figures.

Neither do I usually, that's an idea that might "improve/upscale" them into the final Devy I'd ever need to get. And that appeals.

Can't say there's much in that TFCon 3P lineup that excites me. It's mostly just MP-scale, and while the MMC selection looks fine, it's pretty pedestrian. All my regular TF cars are deluxe or smaller, so a giant-ass Drift/Deadlock would be well out of place. Which was also a reason to avoid Calidus.

Giving Inhumans a go. Jesus. Trainwreck. Badly written, badly acted, badly cast....also, it's rrreeeeeeaaallly boring.

We've all got only a limited time left on this planet, I've decided if it's a Marvel Series not on Netflix it's not getting a chance to waste any of it. Working well so far as a system.

Definitely a sensible enough plan for now. Inhumans main crimes include a low-rent aesthetic and feel, lousy casting, terrible writing, lack of characterisation, no compelling plot and just being very very boring.

Absolutely no trace of Kirby to any of it whatsoever. Iwan Rheon is the best thing in it and even that isn't saying much.
