Double Post to say I hope this Bhiner purchase goes through before the Pry Sinister makes any more speeches, every time she opens her gob the Pound Sterling tanks, and this time the UK's credit rating got downgraded as well!
If her plan is to word salad the UK economy into oblivion, it's working!

 

Maybe the hidden plan is to fudge the economy so badly that they can show it's not workable to have this exit.

So far it's put quite a bit of stress in my life and the life of however many other millions, plus brought down the exchange rate so much I have taken a ~300 euros hit on my wage compared to a year and a half ago. Pound's still OK to use within the country but monetary exchanges hurt. :/

 

If only that were the case, sadly all evidence points to a loosely-affiliated (mainly through pure greed/maintenance of status) Financial Sector/Banking-based oligarchy attempting to create an offshore Tax Haven with a captive (and cheap) labour force to avoid some serious Financial Sector Regulation coming down the European Union legislation pipe.

Dear bloody lord, that was a ballache.

I've just spent the last 15 minutes replacing MMC Tarn's original head with the new one that came with Tyrantron/Megatron. Be forewarned, while the old head splits in half fine once you've got the screw out, the new one is more fiddly. The silver ear thingies are just painted on on the Roller-head, but are separate pieces on the Glitch-head, and WILL leap out and roll around the moment you open that fucker up.

I'm not convinced it was really worth it either, as while the Glitch head is more accurate to the character, it's still an anachronism as he had got a proper face back by the time he put on the Tarn mask in the comic. It's a nice looking head, certainly, but probably not worth the trouble. It also means I can't display Tarn with his mask and Megatron wearing it on his chest at the same time, as only the new mask is magnetic.

 

I long for the days of it being two dollars to the pound. It was cheaper to import toys than buy them over here!

 

One of my favourite roles of his was a BBC radio play based on the Planagenet dynasty, where was Henry II. He was in his element, an evil, conniving bastard and a quite horrible father to his many sons, but managed to still bring in a certain charm to the character.

And yes, no matter what the project - a big budget epic like Titanic, a throwaway radio play like Plantagenet, or a nerdy niche like Star Trek or Baldur's Gate 2, he gives a hell of a performance. One of the best.

(I can kinda picture him playing G1 Scorponok? The cunning mastermind version at least)

 

Been fiddling with Anubis this morning. I love both modes on the this guy but it's a real struggle to get the tabs on his alt mode to stay put, shame.



Spartan feels much better put together but suffers from the same tabbing issues.

Seriously tempted to get Kultur, Tyrantron and Calidus to put in comic book corner because they all look fantastic but should I be worried about them tabs?

 

@nice sideburns - your tabbing issues on Spartan will be down to the way in which you have the thighs rotated. It throws everyone!

I take solace in the fact these chinless wonders haven't had to defend their fiefdoms by sword for generations, and thus are ill-prepared for the Victorian level of criminality the olden days poverty they fondly espouse about and for will bring about.

 

Absolutely no trouble mate, it takes as long as it takes.  

Talk about the worst start to uni ever. Along with the stress of moving and starting again and all that, my girlfriend's decided she needs a break from me. I don't even know what I've done wrong guys, I've done nothing but strive to make her happy, even though she hasn't done the same for me at times. I don't know what I'd do without her, I feel like I don't have any worth at all if I'm not worth it to her.

I feel so numb, I guess my body's trying to shut my feelings off to cope. I don't know how to fix things everyone, it hurts so bad.  

 

my advice, but probably won't help right now, is that it is her loss dude. dust yourself down, put on your glad rags and go and enjoy yourself.

plenty more fish in the sea and uni is a time to have fun, I wish I had done more fun than trying to keep people happy when I was your age.

What @doucoo said dude. You'll feel like shit because you have a shred of decency and that'll be her loss, but it'll last right up until the end of freashers-week when you go out and pull someone better. Your future happiness is probably on the same course as you. Go get it.
