    Hello all!
I've been really REALLY bummed that I wasn't able to pick up an SDCC Bruticus, and I've been trolling google images to fill the void as I don't have the means or the gumption to shell ~~$230. I noticed that there was a pic from the Death From Above Part 1 trailer that showcased the 5 in all their glory. So much so, that it made me notice that Onslaught is STILL BLUE. I play WFC regularly, and I knew that he was blue in that game, but I thought that he was updated for this game in the colors of that SDCC exclusive (brown, black, tan, etc.). Thoughts on the matter? Is the SDCC version REALLY all that accurate? Comments on the other bots besides onslaught are very welcome! :D

The retail colors for Onslaught are definitely more accurate. But for everyone else the SDCC colors are the most accurate.

It makes me wonder whether it is worth it. I mean, it is BEAUTIFUL otherwise. I just don't like the color accuracy of onslaught.

The colors of the SDCC version, especially Onslaught, is more based on the RoTF Bruticus toy than the FoC game. But the rest are still pretty close to game colors. If you're that picky about game-accurate colors, just get retail Onslaught and you're good to go. =D

DEFINITELY get him. Just watch Optibotimus' review and you'll know he is your destiny.

And a bonus is that you can buy the retail later and trade their guns and then it will be the MOST accurate.

I think Onslaught is coloured so that Bruticus is more accurate.

No. That combination = 75% accurate Bruticus due to the design of the toy.
And the retail version has a more accurate paint job, but lacks paint apps.

Besides, it's more of a coincidence that retail Onslaught is more accurate. He's actually homaging Superlink Onslaught.

What is painting? Cant hasbro do that for me? ;)

Yeah, I guess you r right.

...was it ever explicitly stated that sdcc was a game deco ( despite the ~82.4% accuracy? ) ?
    There's always takara? Bahaha :D

Me, I'm totally gay for repaints. So far as I'm concerned, I need every version of these molds.

I'll give you Onslaught, but the rest? Not so much... RotF Swindle had no purple, Vortex is nothing like them, and RotF Blast Off was pretty much G1-accurate. Brawl looks like RotF, but no more than it does G1.

I've got G2 preordered, but it is bugging me that it doesn't fit with the rest of my WFC/FOC collecton T___T

I might just paint the G2 up after all!

Is there ANY chance that SDCC Bruticus reappears on HTS?

I have to agree with you, the G2 version doesn't look like it fits in with the WfC/FoC line AT ALL. You could just do what I'm going to do, though. Stick it in a Neo G2/G2 Redux collection.

Also, I've heard some people claim Hasbro customer service says there's the chance they may relist some items this week. Not sure how true it is, though.

that's why i keep characters in their own group regardless of the series. so i'm gonna make a whole section for the Combaticons right next to the area where i keep my Screamers.

and Bruticus will probably pop up on Monday (the 23rd)
