He has not said to me in the past that he has aspergers/autism and I am yet to develop mine reading abilities.

 

Let's reword this better, in a more dramatic and flowing manner more fitting of this section of the board.

"Can we have some order please!" Magna Prime yelled over the noisy assembly of robots in front of him. Ratchet surveyed the room and though he had only been on-line for a few cycles he recognised more famous faces of Cybertronian technology than bots he had actually met. He began placing faces to names as the chamber went quiet and Magna Prime spoke again.

"Thank you. Fellow Autobots, as you should all by now be aware we face a large crisis. Raids are being carried out on our energon farms on a daily basis and as a result we are losing a lot of our home planet to this new terrorist organisation calling themselves Decepticons..."

Ratchet noticed the change in atmosphere immediately as scientists and medics right around the chamber began to murmur and shift in their seats. Ratchet, like many others inside the room had never come face to face with a Decepticon before but had seen the damage that they had caused either through "Big Blaster's" news broadcast system or through trying to save the lives of bots caught up in the unexpected path of destruction.

"Because of this great threat it has been decided that we shall create 2 new guardian class robots to fight alongside Omega Sentinel and Omega Supreme. These two warriors shall form new Energon facilities themselves and also be able to transform yet again into a mode allowing quick movement to other areas of the planet. As we speak one intel bot per project has been given unique access codes to these new schematic designs. These codes are of utmost importance and under no circumstances are to end up in Decepticon hands."

At this point Blaster tore into the room with his colleague Grandslam, his usual look of fun loving and joy overwritten with a look of great depression and worry.

"It's all gone wrong Magna, Ultra Novus's team have, have..." Grandslam was so shocked he couldn't finish his sentence. Blaster looked up towards Magna Prime with great sadness.

"They've gone man, Novus, Flash, Scorch, Rotorstorm. Taken down in an ambush. Omega Sentinel's so badly damaged he's in stasis lock indefinitely and with Novus gone and seeing how you're the dude with the plan and everything, the council of elders have decided to name you as the new Ultra rank in the Cybertron millitary structure."

All eyes turned to Magna as he nodded towards Emmirate Xaaron who promptly rose to his feet.
"Fellow Autobots, Ultra Novus is dead, Long live Ultra Magnus" In one great sweep the entire congregation joined Xaaron on his feet and cheered their new leader.

I'm not the greatest writer in the world but it reads ok to me, I thought i'd try and make reference to Arcee in there as well. We never did find out what those access codes were for.

It's bad form to go in and rewrite someone's fanfic without asking. And especially since you completely missed the nuance and verve of Spiderus' masterful tale.

 

I think the originals better. yours is a good attempt but its not your fault remakes by nature usually aren't very good.
