Oh yeah, well I hate what the board has become since the "good ol days" when Car Robots was the hot new jazz. Since then the mods have gotten all strict, the fandom has gotten more polarized, and GD has gone from cool to teh suck. Yeah, I remember the good ol days. All bow before me and my seniority!!!

Also, I hate (or at least complain about) a great many things. The list wouldn't end. But to sum some of it up: I hate having to do things, I hate not having anything fun to do with others, unintelligent (stoopid!) people, unfortunate circumstances, my own limitations, etc..

Not wanting to have children is a decision that can be driven by a variety of factors, from a basic lack of interest in sex to a number of socioeconomic considerations and everything in between. Me, I'm not going to have kids, because of some personal choices I've made about my job, and all the medical workup in the world won't show anything.

And while asexuality isn't common, it's not exactly rat king rare.

The fact that it occurs naturally doesn't demand that extinction be a norm--there are a variety of conditions that preclude reproduction, all of which are normal, and none of which seem to be threatening the human species with extinction.

 

Given that humans are arguably overpopulating the planet, you could cheerfully and convincingly argue that you're an evolutionary success, protecting the viability of future generations of humanity by helping ensure they'll have resources available.
