When I went in 2011, they were about $15. They're pretty much movie quality though. Granted a stick is hard to mess up in terms of accuracy, but some of them have some really neat symbols on them. That's why I bought Sirius Black's wand over the Elder Wand.

I just came back from a 5k run at my local Amusement Park. Boy am I pooped. On the way, I do get Donuts during to run to eat. I finish the run in 48 minutes and now I have a Participation Medal and I'm going to show it to my Coworkers.

Most of the food in the parks is the same old chicken tenders and mini pizzas. If you want some good, fast, and quality homestyle food, try Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom. They have a plate of roast chicken, these amazing green beans, and mashed potatoes. It's heaven when you've been eating chicken tenders and burgers for days or all day.

No, that's bullshit. The food is some of the best part of Disneyworld and you'll be going during the Food and Wine festival.

Seems like the most I run into whenever I go is chicken strips and mini pizzas. Then again I am a homestyle cooking kind of man, so of course a plate of roast chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes is going to be King Kong for me in a park full of fast food.

The food at WDW is quite amazing when you avoid the fast and easy option places. Each park has their own great restaurants, with Epcot being the pinnacle with the World Showcase.

Lots of people down here in Orlando are talking about the time Lady Di brought the (2) kids to WDW for a few days and how they just walked and milled about the park and rode the rides and stood in line just like everyone else. I think Lady Di wore some sunglasses but made no other attempt to conceal her identity.

Man, that was something else. Can you imagine someone like her and two Princes just showing up like a normal tourist ? (Ok, I know they had to have had a good amount of anonymous security but still though. I left impressed.)

Twenty years ago. Man. I feel old. RIP.

Anyone here remember that old theme park outside of Orlando called "Circus World" ? (Later renamed "Boardwalk and Baseball".)

I went there on my 8th birthday. I remember waking up early that morning and seeing that my cat had kittens too. Nice present.

You going to every park? I'm also guessing no universal parks?

Anyway, get the Disney app that does fast pass and get your fast pass way before you leave. That's a big time saver right there. You get to reserve restaurant times too.

I'm not getting my 4 day hopper ticket till I get to the hotel, I'm paying less than half of listed rates.  Plus with my hotel, I have full access to all the extra time at the parks.

The Mummy ride and the Jurassic Park ride!

So you going to Universal too during your Disney World vacation? I need to go back there one day. Hulk was down when I went, so that's still a must do. Also, I got a shitty seat on the Rip Ride Rocket and the music didn't work, so that ride needs to be redone. So if you are going to Universal, to add to your list you can do - Rip Ride Rocket Rollercoaster, Escape from Gringotts ride, and the Forbidden Journey ride. And I like drinking porters or stouts, so I really liked drinking the Wizard's Brew while walking around Diagon Alley. I didn't care for the Dragon Scale beer, or the Hog's Head Brew.

ALSO! Columbia Harbour House (also in Magic Kingdom) has an amazing Lobster Roll. It was there that I first got turned onto lobster.
