    I have a MacBook Pro for work. I think it's a piece of crap and Mac OS sucks. Does that count?

    would u raver have a PC that blows up every time u turn it on? they are crap, mac are the best.
    should make a social group instead.

    I've been a Mac user for years, and I own a Windows machine (which I'm on right now, home-built), and a MacBook that I've had since late 2006. I also have owned an old Macintosh Performa (running OS 7.5.5 the last time it booted), and I've owned 2 iMacs (pre-flat screen "flavored" variety). Having used both on a regular basis, my preference leans heavily towards Mac, simply out of personal preference at that. Both Macs and PCs have their pros and cons, and I have no qualms about using either.

    My MacBook needs a new battery and a new SuperDrive, but aside from that it's in great condition. Maybe one day I'll get around to fixing it up, but I'm wanting to try and get a Mac Mini for my main computer sometime soon.

    Anyway on topic. I have a Unibody Macbook Pro. What sort of widgets does everyone have? I love Istat pro and the gmail notifier.

    Haven't used a Mac since the late 90's, but it was awesome... used it for running midi/sequencing software. I remember actually liking the feel and response more than my PC. If I ever decide to get back into digital music, I'll be hunting down a Mac for sure.

    here's what happens with windows: a window pops up. it asks "would you like to download spyware 3?" . you answer no. then it says "download in progress"

    I own a Mac, though I'm not too fond of talking about it, since I know I'll just be shit on (COUGHfirstfewpostsinthisthreadCOUGH), and I find this whole "MAC versus PC" thing rather silly, especially when people get really worked up about it (COUGHfirstfewpostsinthisthreadCOUGH). Everyone has a preference. To be honest, it's just about as stupid as the video game "console wars" going on.

    I own one Mac and two PCs. I enjoy all of them, though I find myself using the Mac more.
