I saw this earlier on Mugglenet. Figured I would post it here. MuggleNet | The ULTIMATE Harry Potter Fansite - Deathly Hallows, Order of the Phoenix, JK Rowling, rumors, news, forums, images, video, and more! I'll definetly be getting this. I was a bit disappointed when I first heard that there would only be 6 copies of it ever. It should make for an interesting read.
I was surprised it hadn't already happened, but I figured she would put this out for charity at some point. I'm probably buying it as well.
Just bought it tonight while at Target. Really good tie-in book, imo, and definitely worth what I paid for it considering it's only been out since Thursday. I would have loved to have gotten the Special Edition of it, but it's way to expensive and limited for me to deem worth of the price. This much cheaper copy of the book will do for me. Anybody else get it? (didn't see a reason to start a new thread for it).
I got one as well. It was an enjoyable half hour or so of reading. I really hope that JK Rowling continues to write- I find her prose easily readable, occasionally witty, and always enjoyable.
We've got both versions on the way to our house. Probably wont have the chance to read it for quite a while though.
It appears Warner Bros. wants to make a film out of the book. Can't let that cash cow die yet! I suggest animated, or, if live action, a Dumbledore framing sequence. This will be a good chance for the only three British actors who haven't been in a Potter film to stop on by.
