I felt like doing some non-TFing bots to ease the brain-ache caused by other projects. Ultimately there will be a small army of these guys, all made from leftover parts.

Enjoy - there's a cookie for anyone that can identify all the pieces :p

edit: yeah, there's a bit of touching-up to be done. I just wanted to share this before it gets forgotten.

    Soundwave338 & Kaymak - you're awfully close!

The feet / legs are actually many small pieces of bionicle chopped up for details, only the actual claws are grlimlock's. The fangs are Grimlock's heels spliced in two. The shoulders are by far the most obscure part, look closely at your 07 Movie collection ;)

Thanks for all the kind words, really helps keep my creativity up :)  I look forward to sharing his swarm-mates! (And some other obscure characters I have in the works)

Can't identify the parts but it looks fantastic compared to the comic. Great job.

    Time for the big reveal...

    The chest-plate is BB's hood/head-cover
The shoulder pads are actually 07 Starscream's ELBOWS

    Mwahaha ;)

I have a suggestion now for what to do with the remenants of the grimlock I sent you. You know you want to try and build a classics Dinobot Sludge out of it :D  you know that with the horns shaved down the junker springer head will look good as sludge.

Does he have a Bionicle mask as part of his arse? I'm always impressed when people can take a complete mish-mash of parts and make the result look coherent. Nice job. :thumb

I'll have a look at that, sounds like a plan

Huh? The legs are many pieces of Bionicle chopped up and rearranged. Unless you mean it looks like Energon Legs, in which case... I have no idea. AEC passed me by entirely :p

His arse is bumblebees crotch in reverse. With added kibble. Coherent you say? Moreso than my posts are, I suppose :p  Thanks for the compliments folks - stay tuned for more IDW lovin'

Ah, I see it now. I thought I saw one of those Bionicle scuba-mask-looking things under there.

I kinda see what you mean. Bionicle is great for scratchbuilds, the little details are plastic quality are really quite awesome. Just gotta be sure to obliterate the lego bits, as they really detract IMO.
