Let's talk about this nifty Nintendo Console that was released back in the early 90s.

Lets face it. We all owned one. We had great childhood memories with it. We had some great nostalgia factor with some of the games we played on it and till this day those games live in our hearts. So what fond memories did you have with SNES? If possible, post a picture of your favorite SNES game(s)or at least the ones you enjoyed playing(or just make a list if it's easier). I have a bunch but I'm gonna post them little by little. Here's my first few:

One memory I have is I remember going to a party at my friend's house and a bunch were playing the Samurai game from Kirby Super Stars. Good times indeed :)

Still got my working SNES with my sort of working NES :lol
Never had that many games for it though.
    - Super Mario World
    - Mario Kart
    - Primal Rage
    - Street Fighter 2
    - Donkey Kong Country: Diddy Kong's Double Trouble

That said, all those games were ace. Yes, even Primal Rage. Haters be damned.

I remember spending many days playing SMW with my friend. He had a PS1 and an N64, but we always ended up playing on the SNES instead :lol

    Mario Kart FTW

I've had a few over the years and always wondered, why some parts of the grey plastic would yellow and other would not. It looked like the same plastic used throughout.

I loved super mario world and techmo super bowl III. About 10 years ago I found U.N. Squadron and still play that one when I just want to play a plane shooting game. This one is a little different but I loved the arcade version.

Super Nintendo was the last great console of Nintendo that I was really interested in and had much great games on it that I loved (although I prefered the Sega Mega Drive mostly).

And the console looked really great :)

I recently bought those Buffalo Classic USB Controllers that look and feel exactly like the original Super Nintendo controllers :)

I loved games like Terranigma, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Zelda 3 and Illusion of Time :)

Super Nintendo was the last Nintendo home system that I had more than 15 games for. Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii. I never broke the 15 game barier with those (unless I count downloadable games for the Wii). Mind you these days I really don't like the modern day versions of Mario, Zelda and the rest.

that is not a snes! those weird ass concave blue buttons.

that is a snes! i never owned one myself, but my neighbour and some friends did. i loved the shit out of mario kart, mario world, pilot wings, metroid, f-zero and street fighter 2.

i also have one of the classic controllers for the wii, but i guess for Americans it won't carry the same nostalgic values as it does for me, as the japanese pad is identical to the europeen one.

I have an SNES and two games but the SNES I got for $5 and it does not turn on. I haven't gotten around to trying to fix it or scrap it yet. The games I have are Tazmania and Roger Clemens All Star Baseball.

My old roommate used to have one though and I did have Doom for it. I remember one time we were playing Super Mario All Stars and it was getting late. We paused the game and was going to resume it in the morning, but I guess you can't pause games for more than 10 hours... because the system locked up!

Weird, I never knew that the european version used the super famicom model. My favorite games were Street Fighter 2+ turbo&super, Starfox, Final Fatasy 2(4) , Zelda: A link to the past, super metroid, UN squadron, Actraiser, and probably others that I can't think of off the top of my head. The SNES is easily one of my favorite systems of all time.
