Funny how that scene - and the aircraft carrier sequence - got lost in that flurry of action, when they were spectacular in their own right. In any other movie, people would be gasping at the sight of the submarine getting tipped over.

I found these, besides the set pieces, stand out action as well.

what about the great pyramids? they are destroyed....how will the people of earth appreciate the transformers after something like that? submarines can be rebuilt, aircraft carriers can be rebuilt..the pyramids are a part of our history...they canbe rebuilt as well, but it wont be the same, not even close

The aircraft carrier scene was amazing. Just watching it sink with Decepticon protoforms climbing to the top was bone-chilling.

It would have been more striking to me if it was a physical model. The big CGIness didn't impress much on what could have been done the 'old-fashioned' way.

Yeah, there goes the whole disguise right out of the window, and if they ever choose to make a crossover with Gi Joe, how are they going to explain the rebuilt pyramids seen in the Joe trailers? Goverment cover up?

The sub may have been broken in two. We only seen the stern and prop. It would be a CG prop as the Navy doesn't let people see the rear end of subs or stealth aircraft.
