Surely everyone is familiar with Mad Max, The Road Warrior, and Thunderdome, or at least the post-apocalyptic genre.

I have a strong feeling that this whole Stunticon line was borrowing from the idea of the menaces that roamed the wastes in these movies.

I say Breakdown looks more like Night Rider, I mean, Nightrider went nuts when Max appeared, that sounds like something Breakdown would do.

Who would be Toecutter, I wonder?

Well if nothing else, Axor & Lockdown seem to have watched a few of those movies while chilling on planet Junkion...

It's likely the Mad Max movies had some influence on Transformers since the Dreadnoks from the GI Joe brand were Mad Max inspired. Post nuclear apocalypse was a pretty popular theme back in the 80's because the United States and the Soviet Union were still in the Cold War.

I don't see it in the Stunticons, but it would be a pretty cool idea for a Decepticon group. A micromaster patrol based on Lord Humongous' people would be hilarious.

    Motormaster's "Roller"

Didn't want to make an entirely new thread for this. Was Motormaster's drone ever used in the cartoon or comics? Too bad he doesn't even fit inside the closed trailer. I always used the drone to go scavenge autobot leftovers for energy, kind of like the "face suckers" from Aliens. That's the stuff bad dreams are made of.

"Ooh, here's a handsome addition for my busts collection."

I wish he had a profile. He kind of looks like a Decepticon limo/staff car for VIPs.
