It says it is a "Diamond exclusive". Is that exclusive to a store? I can't find it at my local comic shops.

Diamond-exclusive merely refers to it being exclusively distributed by Diamond Comics Distributors which is the leading distributor of comics in the US. That said, if you can't find it in your store, it probably means your shop didn't order any since most if not all comic shops in the US get from them, but that shouldn't prevent you from having it ordered, or finding it online.

I own a comic book and toy store in Dublin California :)  ...It's a pretty awesome store if I do say so myself and if you're ever in the area by all means check us out! As for the issue being in stock...We orderred quite a few when they were offered by Diamond Distribution (the company that supplies all comic book stores) and I still have some available which I'm happy to offer to anyone, and still at cover price.

A lot of comic shops only order the main publishers...Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image and IDW...and sometimes only a fraction of the non Marvel / DC books. We pride ourselves in ordering a much wider selection and the "indie" comics are pretty much my bread and butter :)

    Dragonclaw,
you forgot companies like Dynamite, Aspen, Archie, and Bongo. All comic shops carry comics have comics from them.

Hah! I know shops that only bother stocking Marvel and DC for the shelves, if you want any other companies product you have to order it.

Your shop sounds like a nice place! Is this the website? COMIC INK (The Ramjet is a good hint that that's you. :D )

Yeah, this. Most smaller shops barely carry anything but Marvel/DC, and maybe a handful of things from Image and Dark Horse. I understand that shops can't afford to stock comics that don't sell in big numbers, but it's hard not to feel unwelcome when you have to special order everything you want instead of just walking in and picking it up like everyone else does.

Is this the exact same comic that was included with the Botcon set? Or is there more to it?

Yep, that's me :)  We carry about 500 titles a month! Surem we don't always order a LOT of issues of each, but we like to keep a lot available :D

The comic has a few extra pages, mostly as an expansion of the Allspark Almanac :)

I've never been to a comic shop like that and most of the comic shops I've been to are straight narrow. The only places I know that are like that are newspaper stores.

Dammit! They said they can't order it. I didn't ask why. Maybe I should've.
