Nothing stranger than chicken, I guess, with the white garlic sauce. I did see one at Papa Murphy's with pickles on it, and that didn't look too good. The strangest topping I've seen others have? Pubes, definately pubes.
When I was a kid my dad brought home what he called a "Ninja Turtles Pizza". It was a Round Table supreme pizza and he sprinkled a bag of tiny colorful marshmallows all over it. Looking back it was pretty clever but my brother and I refused to eat it and my unhappy mom made him go buy another one.
I had a pube in my sprite at a club once, I was so disgusted. Someone obviously didn't wash their hands after holding the firehose while peeing (or masturbating and I am not sure which is worse). Bacon and maple syrup, home-made and it was really, really good. I was pregnant though......
Honestly, the strangest toppings I ever had was in Italy. 3 Americans just outside of Milan, no one spoke Italian, and we decided to keep it simple with pepperoni and sausage. It came back with cut up hot dogs and peppers, swimming in oil.
In terms of toppings one may not expect, broccoli is at the top of my list. It was on some super vego home made pizza. Best pizza topping extra though, is eggs. I'm no seafood fan, but that sounds like it would be really nice had the chefs clearly not been a bunch of drunken fuckup artists.
HAM + PINAPPLE = AMAZING!!!...i must admit at first i was like WFH(would of been WTF but i was a kid at the time)....but as soon as i tried it at CCs pizza back in...a long time ago, i was hooked...prob my go to pizza if there is such a thing..
I sat on a pizza once. Would that count as a strange topping? Normally though I just want extra meat or fish on mine. Prawns are a nice topping. And curry sauce.
Why? Cause it's a fruit? What are ya, a frucist? Cause tomato is a fruit, and that's on 98% of all Pizza's.
That looks extremely delicious. I'm going to do that. For me it would have to be BBQ sauce instead of pizza sauce, I know it's technically not a topping, but I really hate when people order pizza with that and don't tell me. Then I find out the hard way.
Sour cream. It was some kind of "baked potato" motif... had cheddar cheese, onions, sour cream, little sliced up potatoes - no sauce. It was actually pretty good.
Artichoke hearts, Salmon and capers. It was the best pizza I've had. I need to go get some more of that.
