Hey guys! This will be my first transformers custom/repaint. Magnetized a WFC head onto RTS perceptors body and just need to get to the painting process now. I still havent decided if I want to do an SG Soundwave repaint or Traditional soundwave repaint. Might just end up getting another set of bots and doing both lol.

I'd do the sg reprint if I were you, I love this recipe but it seems to be a little overdone IMO and doing an SG reprint would really differentiate it frome the others, allthough you could put your own little spin on it and make it original :)

    I personally dislike SG.
But,considering that this mold has been done in G1 countless times,AND the fact that Botcon SW sucks balls,I'd say go with SG,it'd be more original imo.

Well this mold looks more kung-fu ready than the classics ironhide mold. So I say go with SG!

I live the recipe, but I think you should make it your own. Make a shattered shattered glass version (light blue). Or a shattered shattered shattered glass version (lighter blue).

Decided on the paint scheme I'm going to go with. Now I'm actually going to paint this with GW paints which leaves me with one question. How do I keep this paint from getting chipped or rubbed off from ball joints/transformation? Ofcourse I will be using a matte varnish sealent but thats really all I've ever used on my GW/Warmachine figures. Any tips or tricks guys?
