It's kinda funny how the sound of a fart or a pig rolling down the stairs can become a robotical roar after sound editing.

I heard somewhere that one of the robot's walking was just a slaming door edited.

I loved the high-pitched whine that accompanied Devastator combining. It just got higher and higher pitched as he neared completion.

The tricks they use for sound editing are insane. The people that do this are amazing artists. I've always found those portions of DVD extras to be the most interesting since you see all the crazy stuff they use to get a particular sound.

[R Star Wars sounds] The light saber clash noise - was cool - I tried that by wacking a tortioned wire and it does sound like a obvious componenent of the lightsaber noise.

That material was great. Should have been on the DVDs and Blu Rays.

Love reading how they do this type of stuff. I remember reading about the animals in Avatar, how the sound editors layered about 5 different real animal roars, flipped, edited and tweaked some of those 5 to get the roars heard in the movie.

Ever since I found out how they did the sounds for the monster in LOST, I love hearing the design choices to get those crazy, creepy sounds.

    Very cool stuff ^_^

Very cool. Seeing "behind-the-scenes" stuff like this is really interesting.

In my opinion, the Transformers films have some of the best sound effects in the history of film.
