Freed up a shelf for SOC.

My two newest are Daltanious and Mazinger. Both awesome! I've been wanting premium representations of both since childhood and these don't disappoint whatsoever.

Hey guys I was hoping I could get your opinion on something. I recently added a GX-18 Getter Dragon to my collection and it came with one of those crystal bases. The box for the figure is in great shape but the box for the crystal base is pretty beat up. I really prefer nice boxes so I figured I would get rid of it. I would have never used it anyway. But then I started thinking, would my Getter Dragon be considered less complete without it?

Time for though decisions, I have until tonight (Italy time, now are 4 pm) to decide to buy or not to buy SoC Daltanious. It's expensive and posability seems a bit limited, but I still haven't any SoC figure and it's kind of a shame. Why only today? There is a sale at gamestop in Italy and is I buy him I can basically add a Soul of Gods Saint Seiya figure for free.

From a selling perspective; yes, it's less complete. For your personal use, it seems to have everything necessary for you to display a mint toy.

    Buy it. I have two.

If you like the design it's really well executed the bot is gorgeous the altmodes are gorgeous.

Well SOC is far from perfect. Voltes is one of my favorite bots I have two versions of the SOC but if you asked me "Should I get Voltes?" I would say, "How much do you like the character?" Plenty of flaws to annoy the causal fan. Daltanious is just all around well done.

Of course I wasn't implying that you were blindly praising the figure:)
I always considered daltanious one of the best SoCs (I specifically love how they were able to maintain correct proportions in combined mode, unlike god sigma) so I was expecting to be told to buy him from experienced collectors.

Well that's cause Daltanious cheats like a mofo with add-on parts. God Sigma is a perfect transformation without adds. I wouldn't mind a bigger alt-head for GS. But he is still one of my absolute favorites.

Yeah, he cheats but in the end it only does with head and shoulders. Given the end result I think it was the right compromise, but I can see the value of having a perfect transformation.

Like I said, I just got Daltanious and love it. Comes with so many accessories and looks fantastic however you have it setup. So solid too. It's probably my favorite out of the three I just pictured based on nostalgia and execution.

I agree. Not big on perfect transformations myself. I just love GS.

me too. I'd love to have one, but the SoC has those odd proportions and the SRC is a bit too small.

I regret a bit not having bought him when I had the chance in the past. I think I'll atone for this in the future.

Love my SOC Daltanious figure. One of my favorites in my SOC collection. This was my first SOC I collected and was so impressed with the fit and finish of this figure it sold me on the entire toyline.
