I thought the SentiNel is 1/12 scale. The same as Figma and SH Figuarts? Did I read that wrong? Do we have any idea what that one will cost? Because that shot to the top of my interest list.

Sentinel is 1/12. The one in the vid is not Sentinel and 1/6. Yeah, Sentinel Ride Armor is my #1 most wanted toy right now and I'm still interested in the others. Because Cyclones are sweet.

It's from Sentinel, transforms, combines, in set scale, expect over 22,000 yen MSRP.

Wow...I'm still pissed I didn't preorder Dougram. I won't make the same mistake again.
HMR is prettty good quality and they have amazing detail. The VF-1s have more detail than the Arcadia 1/60 VF-1s in many areas. THe only HMR I've had quality issues with is the VF-1J Hikaru...Not sure why but that one's tolerances and overall feel is worse than others even though it's the same mold.

That would be quite reasonable. I'm just hoping it's not $400-500.

Yeah, if the Riobot Ride Armore is less than $200, I'd be amazed and thankful. It should be but everything seems overpriced these days.

That price range doesn't even make sense. Second hand market, maaaaaybe.

I don't know? Even at 1/12 that would be a fairly complex undertaking. Didn't the smaller scale lower quality Toynami MSRP at ~$200? I just look at this thing and get fearful they will go all "Hot Toys" with the pricing.

HT should get the Macross or Robotech line since they have done other animes in 1/6, then have the MOSPEADA subline in their diecast line. Just imagine all the cyclones and their transformable bikes in 1/6 diecast glory!!!

Holy crap this is exactly the brand I was hoping for after Dougram. Yes! I hope we get multiple mecha from both. I am just a touch more excited for this than the Ride Armor.

What's complex about it? I'm not the most familiar, but the gist has always seemed to be motorcycle pieces go on human figure. If anything, I think the biggest price factor would be diecast content, which I think would probably be more on the joints and body of the human figure than larger motorcycle pieces, so at that size in thinking it can be reasonable. At $400- $500 type pricing it 200 over stuff like Dancouga and Mazinkaiser.

It's a bitch to get the proportions right in both modes and then have the figure stand up on it's own. I am sure Sentinel is up to the task but it has been a failure for several companies.

I'm just guessing pricing. I'm sure they'll have the rest under control. They're Sentinel.

    -----------

Speaking of the devil, I did a count off the top of my head, and I counted 65 sentinel toys currently in my posession only counting actual, individual toys and not doubles. I'll get a real count Monday.

Edit; off the top of my head, i forgot Riobot oubu

    heh!

The only Sentinels I have are their ova Getters. The ones they partnered over with T-Rex.

    They're awesome!

I really should get their new Kaiser shiny, but am getting more and more into airsoft guns lately... :ev:
