This my be a lonely shot in the dark, but:
Anyone here is a fan of this great sci-fi show from the 70's?

If you are, did you get the fantastic DVD box collection from Time Life?

Good show I enjoyed it. Him and the Bionic Woman. Way back then we all went to Disney Land and I saw the set for the Bionic Woman at MGM Studios. I was just waiting for her to show up Through the door or come down the stairs but she never did. Then went went through the Battlestar Galactica set and that was awesome.

Steve Austin: astronaut. A man barely alive...

“Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world’s first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster.”

I am a fan but I do not yet have the DVD set

I liked it a lot when I was younger. Well, I still do, but I don't have the DVDs or anything.

man, the stuff i watched as a kid...
i was allowed to watch certain shows as a kid and really didn't "get" them at the time.
    $6MM was one of those.

then i caught reruns as a teen and loved the Velveeta grade cheese of it.
but then again, i feel that way about The Incredible Hulk, Airwolf and Knight Rider now.

i doubt i'd buy the box set though.

I loved this show as a kid.

I watched several episodes again when it aired on SciFi (as it was called back then).
I had forgotten how the original episodes had a James Bond kind of feel to them and that Lee Majors ran on a treadmill with sped up film superimposed behind him to simulate speed.

How and why this changed to SLOW MOTION to represent his incredible speed I don't know.
Then of course the show changed even more for the goofy with aliens, Sasquatch and 70's cheese, but that's what I remembered and I love it.

I doubt I'll buy any DVDs though.
