Crazy thing is I will buy this because my Genesis collection is still 100% in tact.

Yes, but can you take those MD games with you on a trip? Or play them in the middle of a jungle? Only way I had to do that was the Nomad, but that thing literally carried its own battery pack. I may seriously pick this little thing up.

I still have Aladdin, Gunstar, Landstalker, and an assload of other games still in their pristine boxes. Best Generation of my gaming life.

But can your PSP play Aladdin (wait don't answer that), and can your laptop fit in your pocket?

Smang, you haven't accepted me as a friend on FB. That makes me a sad panda. All I got was Twist, lol.

I'm ripping on Smang, dude. I have like 100 ways to play Genesis games, 3 of which are portable. This thing is still neat because I do have so many Genesis cartridges at home.

Only a trillion? I thought that Sega had already licenced at least 3 times as many Mega Drive products.

I recently found out my girlfriend had a Nomad, and I went nuts. I always wanted one as a kid, so I made her find it buried in her attic and we played around with it for a while, but the battery really IS that bad. Was great to finally get to play one though, Earthworm Jim baby!

Yeah, my girlfriend found out I had a nomad, and she was very happy after that. She played with it all day, and when the cartridge was beaten she'd just put on another one. She stopped caring about me when she found out about my nomad.

16 bit gaming was where it was at!
    Turbografx 16 had a portable W/TV tuner
    The Nomad
    The Game Gear
    Lynx

nifty they were, but had their problems.
but any gaming device you could carry on trips was a WIN

I always did like the Lynx and the TurboExpress. Though the TurboExpress had less than acceptable battery life.
