This looks like its going to be bad ass!
So badass that Fox will surely cancel it within 5 episodes.
Still, I can get behind a weekly terminator series.
That girl is HAWT!
I don't care if she's a machine. I'd hit it.
Cool River from Firefly is in it!! Which means that Fox will cancel it after 10 episodes, just like Firefly.
I thought T3 sucked all sorts of major ass. But I'd give this show a watch.
That's who I thought she was.
IMHO, it looks pretty craptacular.
Does anyone know if this fits in with the movies or if it is an alternate reality deal? I can't imagine it fitting in anywhere other than between T2 and T3. I hope that it doesn't suck. I like Summer Glau and would love to see a Terminator series.
No, it takes place between T2 and T3. If you remember, after the events of T2, Sarah stayed alive long enough to see the original D-day come and go.
When is this supposed to be starting?
I'll tune in.
How can this happen between 2 and 3? There's no indication in 3 that Connor did anything besides run around acting paranoid (right??? ). That's it, beyond T2, this series is officially a complete fuck up. Story, cast, continuity all out the window. The entertainment value of this show comes at the cost of logic. And I like Terminator.
If they can make a series about teenage Superman and have it be a success, I am sure this one will do some good.
I wanna see a bunch of CGI T-800s kickin ass.
I give it 3 to 4 tops.
Looked like John was checking out Summer Glau in that one topless scene.lol
So how long will her character last in the series?
Her character will last long enough. But, is she a reprogrammed TX, or a "new" model? Hmmm...
Hmm. I'll be damned. That actually looks pretty good.
It could be cool, but I cringed at the "Come with me" line.
Looks like it has potential. That means Fox will fuck up the advertising and it will be canceled and/or moved to Friday (where Fox sends shows to die) within 5 episodes or so.
I actually have not seen the Terminator films, but I would give this show a chance. It gets bonus points for having Summer Glau.
I don't see any overt contradictions between this series and T3 as yet. Just because John Connor didn't spend five minutes in T3 describing how he and his mother were in peril for 45 minutes a week doesn't mean it didn't happen. (Absence of evidence not being evidence of absence and all that.) Besides, given how painful T3 was to sit through, I'd welcome a series that wrote it out of continuity.
Personally, I'll take good entertainment over logic any day of the week. Hence my love of Transformers.
