I am getting this the moment it hits Steam.

 

I remember absolutely loving this game, until I got to a part I just couldn't seem to beat.

I wonder if I still have the game kicking around somewhere.

 

At first I thought this was going to be a remake, but a new game such good news.

Will be interesting to see screenshots.

The fact that Snatcher hasn't been re-released in any shape or form is a sin against man. It gave me appreciation for Blade Runner in reverse. In other words, I played Snatcher before really watching BladeRunner.

Yes, it took me this long to be able to express my sentiments on this horror.

 

What is Rocket Knight? The Remake? IT being sequeled in 3D, Me making Love to Bladerunner music, or Smang's predicting the coming of Rocket Knight?

 

It's not a remake, it's an "orignal" game, and by original I mean "is likely to shit on everything that made the originals so good if the terrible screenshots are anything to go by".

 

So I take it you're not impressed by Smang's clairvoyance? I dunno, if they give it the Bionic Commando treatment, it could still be fun.

I did notice what you just pointed out with your link. The game doesn't share the same art style. But what if we are just looking at one level that doesn't resembles the level locations from the first. Because the games showed are all remakes, or in the case of Ghouls and Ghosts alternate takes of the original, but not direct sequels. I'll wait and see. But yes, if Sparks wasn't in the shots, I would NEVER guess that it's a Rocket Knight game.
