Looks like it will start after the Civil War even. Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefield will be on the majority of the books planned.

Personally, I did enjoy the whole Onslaught arc, but Heroes Reborn was a hit and a miss for me, I think I onliy enjoyed the Iron Man and Hulk versions. However, I believe I'll be picking this up since I love Loeb's writing.

This will be one to avoid completely. Ugh. I hated Onslaught. It's what finally killed comics for me after that whole clone debacle.

Every instinct I have is telling me to avoid this like the Plague, but I think I might check it out anyway. :confused2

Heroes Reborn was my introduction to the non-X, non-Spidey parts of the Marvel Universe and, to be honest, I did enjoy parts of it at the time. Besides, I've always been curious where Avengers would ahve gone if Liefeld hadn't been pulled off and replaced by someone who hadn't bothered reading the first seven issues.

I'm torn, I hate Rob, like Jeff. Hate the idea of the return of Onslaught, hate where the X-Books are right now. I guess I'll giver a go.

    I'm torn. On one hand:

    --I really enjoy Loeb's writing.
--Onslaught is one of my most favorite villains and stories ever.
--I never read the original Heroes Reborn, but it's always intrigued me.

    On the other:

--I have a very strong dislike for Liefeld. Not so much brecause of his art (which does suck), but everything I hear about him says he's a real jerk.

I hate being a X-men fan sometimes, This is so Sad. I won't touch this with a 10 foot poll.

I don't get all the liefeld hate either. I met him and tlaked to him for an hour while he drew me a Domino pic. Awesome guy and very fan-personable. This might be worth getting. I loved the Iron Man book by Lee and Lobdell. And I always enjoy Loeb's writing.

for the love of god... LOOK AT HIS ART!! Strange proportioned bodies! Recycled poses!

I tried to give his newer art some merit... I really did... but the more I saw, the more I realized he hadn't changed.... and good lord, have you seen his Hulk?!?!

Whoa...so you think its really a marketing plot to tie in with the next ML legends release!? I was hoping it was coincidence but that being the case, this is indeed a sad day for me... :(

Personally, I've always thought that Lifeld draws a really good Hulk. It's one of the very few cases where Rob's limited grasp of anatomy actually works for him.

The 90s are the Herpes of the American comic industry. They suck and you thank gawd that they have passed, but you know that its always going to be there and it'll always come back to suck again.

I have, I also have a large part of his X-force work. Granted.. I don't think hes the best artist out there, but hes definitely not the worst. Oh well. difference of opinion.
