Does anybody else think the show is actually better without writers so far?
I absolutely support the strike but the show's actually sort of funnier.

I haven't really watched Conan since Andy left. It just wasn't the same show without him.

I loved the beard. The show was great, too. I haven't watched Conan in a couple months, and I was pretty amused. The Rock Band part was my favorite.

Conan has a beard like Letterman now? What is this like the writers' strike crossing over the line beard?

Yeah, it's an epic beard too, if I may say so myself. He said someone told him he resembled Kris Kringle from that claymation movie Santa Claus Is Coming To Town when he had a beard.

I think Letterman has his writers, because he owns the show or something. Leno and Conan do not.

I'm just wondering how the Daily Show is going to be when it comes back on next week without writers.

I can't even see how that would work.

Well that's what I've heard, anyways. Should be back on the 7th without writers.

I haven't been up late enough to watch Conan in awhile. I can't wait for the strike to be over so that shows can resume again.

Letterman has an agreement with his writers and is using them.

Leno is part of the guild, but is also writing and using his own stuff. I'm not sure if that's against the rules, but a number of fellow guild members are pissed. I haven't read any of the articles pertaining to the exact specifics.

Conan has no writers and that's all I've heard.

Finally, I don't watch late night TV so I don't really care about any of them. :)

In fact, while I support the writers in their fight, I'm in no hurry for new TV or movies. My wife and I are currently working our way through all seasons of 24. Thank goodness my brother-in-law picked up all the dvd sets! That show is awesome!

I think Ferguson's show also has writers, on account of being owned by Letterman. One of 'em called it "diplomatic immunity."

Don't watch any late-night shows, but I did see an episode of Daly's show last week on vacation. Man, it was rough.

I do totally support the writers strike, but Conan has been awesome without the writers. I really think that the show might be better without writers, but Im also not sure how long he is going to last doing these awesome segments and time burners and stuff.

Also, I have been watching Letterman this week as opposed to Leno and am enjoying his show. Out of principle, I should also be watching Ferguson, but the gravitational pull of the Conan is just too strong.

    Keep cool my babies!!
