Hasbro keeps syaing "We are trying to Release these Figures as soon as possible" and slowly releasing them as toys r us exclusives. but then it hit me. why dont they just release them on hasbrotoyshop? they wouldnt have to deal with retailers, they would just release them on their own store.
    Why havent they done this?!?!?!?!?!?

It might be one of the many options on the table, and being discussed.

The problem is the amount of units to produce, and expected sales. Which is one of the reasons they'd prefer a retail outlet. Probably other reasons we aren't aware of either.
Otherwise I concur, an online retailer outlet exclusive would be a great idea, HTS, BBTS, and whatever other online stores could pick it up.

Or heck, even just a through their site special like mattel does he-man. If it keeps doing well, then it can spin off into its own yearly cost thing for all the figures.
This way though, each figure would cost more, as it's a lower run of figures. Overstock wouldn't be an option for these if they can avoid it, so they aren't just eating the cost from overproducing.

They could milk it a little bit longer this way though.
    elita-1 (arcee with new head)
    BlackOut
    WingPrime
    Brawn (soundwave with new head)
    Axer (new head on lockdown)
Cliffjumper (hydrodive BB with new head)
    Hydrodive BB
    Vortex Blur
    Toxic Oilslick
Transtech Prime (Cybby mode prime, armada deluxe prime head)
    Transtech Cheetor (blur new head)
    Transtech Tigatron (Blur new head)
    Animated Ravage (Takara BW ravage)

So hopefully they still do something with these molds for maximum efficiency and coverage.

To be honest I don't care for any of the stuff that's stuck in limbo still except Vortex Blurr.

Yeah, I'm personally over the unreleased Animated toys. If they release them, that's great. If they don't I'm not losing any sleep over it.

I'd buy from HTS to get those guys. Absolutely.

I'm still keeping my BBTS preorders though...

Could we get any more/unreleased Animated figures in the Generations Line or has hasbro given us a strong no on them being put in the Generations Line.

No plans for Animated Constructicons plus the Japanese releases of the other stuff means I'm not too concerned with whether these come out stateside or not.
