The Ferrari was meant to have an Italian accent, wasn't it? This could be interesting   as for Mirage, i hope he doesn't turn invisible, because 1. I just can't see how a 15- 20ft robot can turn invisible, they weigh a ton, so the ground will crack up wherever he walks, and 2. it might mean that he'll get even less screentime cos we won't be able to see him.........

 

He wasn't promised a whole lot of screen time plus (presumably) he can talk. Also now a days people seem to fuse invisibility with intangibility so I wouldn't be surprised if he had both.

 

I hope he gets to do stuff.

 

Mirage has the same mouth as Bumblebee, and his robot mode also looks very similar in the behind shot. Maybe they’ve been re-imagined as brothers in the movie-verse? Wouldn’t surprise me.

Anyway, at least we know he speaks…..in an Italian accent. I’m genuinely surprised they didn’t give him a curly robotic-moustache that moves when he talks.

 

I think the one in the second picture is Sentinel. You can see the Optimus ears in the back, and the dog-like nose... No, wait... though I can see the Mirage-ish parts too... That might well be Mirage.

EDIT: Before the reveal of this cover art on the toy, we've had nothing to go on for the Ferrari besides the red color. Now we have something to go on. I think it is Mirage, not Sentinel...

 

We discussed that before I highly doubt it's sentinel.

 

We? I haven't discussed it with you before... You never know, the lighting or something could explain the variation in color on Sentinel's face in the cutout - if it is Sentinel. Or it could be chalked up to some later change in design.

 

You could be right but the cutout is missing the emblem on it's forhead that sentinel has, sentinel's beard, and sentinel's eyebrows. But again it could be an early design.

No one did. Some guy interviewed Bay and accidentally combined two separate sentences about the Ferrari and the Dreads into one sentence, which made people believe that Mirage is actually a deception, and is thus a traitor based off of nothing more than a misprint.

 

if wheeljack has a british accent, it'd be an absolute sin as it all points to him having a german accent, german reg and einstein head, german accents sound intellectual also.

I'm glad he's finally been identified, but looking at the head, I can't help but wonder why they didn't name him Cliffjumper? It resembles Cliff more than Mirage, the color is right... Minor details tho.

 

Rampage was all cgi which is easy to put on screen.

 

ya he does look like he can be a C.J his head looks like a pissed off bumblebee.

 

I'm pretty sure most of the robots are CGI
