    That's actually oddly kinda funky.

I never thought of a real-life approach to TMNT.

It looks like... well, a turtle in a mask.

I think the neck should be a tad thicker. Should look cool moving.

I want to see the body design. Obviously they can't have stumpy arms and legs, but how can they make them long without looking really lanky and monsterous?

I'm all for more realistic versions of shows like TMNT.

But I'm reserving judgement until I hear more about writers, actors, directors, ect.

That looks strangely awesome. I would LOVE a reboot for the franchise.

I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. Interested to see where this goes.

I freakin love the ninja turtles, and greatly welcome a new film series. If the upper lip part was more round I'd be totally down for it. Iron Man is my favorite super hero of all, and I don't like the triangle. But that doesn't mean I don't like ironman. So I'm all for the new movie.

But it also kinda looks like senior mutant ninja turtles.

Interesting. Not exactly sure if I like it or not, though part of me is definitely hoping this turns out to be real. At the same time, as a life-long TMNT fan, part of me can't keep from thinking this looks too different, but I'll give it a chance before I form an opinion of it.

If it is real, I would hazard a guess that this is meant them when they're older. Mikey here certainly looks like he's as old as Master Splinter anyways. Would be cool, imo, if it's the originals training a new team of replacements, or this here is meant just for an introductory scene, and they're telling a story from their past.

Should at least be interesting to see. Assuming of course it turns out to be real, which, imo, it looks like it is.

Edit: The one thing that I'm really wandering about, again assuming this is real, is what pizza restaurant chain will sponsor the movie. Can't honestly remember who sponsored the original three.

That does not look appealing at all.

I love the Turtles and this just feels... wrong. I don't mind a more serious or darker story but this looks like a monster from a Troma movie.

I love turtles and I would watch them if they looked like that as long as they followed a mature storyline.

There was a three part mini series in the black and white comics that depicted them like this. I liked the look but their personalities were extremely dry. So I don't mind the look, but I hope they aren't TOOO serious.

That recent TMNT animated movie with the Black and White Turtles....yeah, I like the way they acted there.

You must have started watching them, when Krang was involved ...............

    Uhhh... no. Just no.

Why not use the technology from Pirates of the Carribean used for Davy Jones and his crew? That would work just fine...

This is gonna scare kids if this is real. But kudos to the makeup department for this - very detailed, and impressively realistic.

Right now, if they have a storyline that's mature and gritty as the original 1990's film or the 2007 film, it's all good with me. The 2007 film wasn't bad at all.

I'm absolutely certain that if this is the look, that the masks will not be 100% costume. I'm sure this will be a guide for closeups but when they talk, CG will be laid over, like Davy.

I thought the original movies looked pretty darn good. The cartoons should stay cartoons.
