I thought it could be cool to make a thread where we just bounce around random ideas that we've had about Transformers as a toyline. Have you had any random ideas for a line-wide feature? What really catches your eye and pops out at you in a figure, positively or negatively? I'll start. - It would have been cool if a gimmick in the Transformers: Prime toyline was that their faces were articulated. Imagine of you could tilt Starscream's eyebrows up and down, slide Optimus' faceplate down, open Bulkhead's jaw, etc? In a show so that's animated with such exaggerated facial expressions, it would have made sense to be able to replicate that in the toys. - I hate it when the engineers make no decisions about how to transform what ends up on the back of a figure. It's like you fold every hinge around endlessly trying to make it look better but it's still just a jumbled piece of shit! - The difference between the DOTM and PRIME toylines is astounding. Obviously there were different goals in mind with each, but PRIME looks so much classier in every way. There is such a huge gap in the class of these figures.
