'Rodents of Unusual Size' indeed.
I love this film so much.
Who else feels the same?
I love this movie lots.
I quote it often. Once dressed as the Dread Pirate Roberts for Halloween.
Love this movie a lot. My parents had the music that played during the credits play at their wedding. Unfortunately since they got divorced I can't either watch the movie nor refer to it around my mom any more. But now it kind of has a "forbidden fruit" stigma to it so I am sure when I watch it next I will enjoy it even more.
"My name is (I can't remember to save my life... ). You killed my father. Prepare to die." Best. Quote. Ever.
It's a classic
So expect Hollywood to try to remake and ruin it in a few years.
I just got around to watching it last year. I thought it was OK, with one or two very funny parts, but I didn't think it was anywhere close to as good as it's made out to be.
Princess Bride = WIN.
Ok, with classic quotes, six-fingered men, fire swamps and Miracle Max aside, this movie has one element it could not be without. Andre the Giant. He stole the show. His character of Fessik was very believable and could prove that the man was great actor as well as athlete. This is something wrestlers of today FAIL at, yea, I'm looking at you John Cena.
This movie was epic in so many ways, if you havent seen it, go now!
I've based my life on Vizzini's teachings.
Never get involved in a land war in Asia.. and never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line.. I'm sure there are more but i can't think of them at the moment.. But its all sound advice..
One of the most underrated and often overlooked movies ever. Sad.
BUT SO GOOD.
It's been so long since I watched it!
First thing I'm gonna do tomorrow afternoon, when I get home, is to check if I have a DVD of it, and bung it in!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
love the movie, book was good too. so many classic lines. my xbox name is dread pirate.
And I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.
And for the music-y people, an excellent score by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits fame.
* under 30 crowd goes "who?" *
...that aint workin'.
One of my favorites. So....who here has all, like, seventeen different versions of the DVD? Seriously though, I swear I see this film in a new package every year.
Anybody want a peanut?
... that's the wayya do it.
