We have these "First Edition" which use the old terminology then we have these "-izers" which confuse me further. So when looking up the figures in TFwiki I'm confused as to what figures go to each class.
DAFUQ HASBRO!!! I know you want to sound cooler but his just sounds lame and contrived. Just keep the old size classing until you think of better.
They're still Deluxes, Voyagers, and Leaders. The "-izer" names are, as far as I've seen, the name for each size classes' gimmick. Look at the packaging pictures for the Deluxes and Voyagers, they still say that they are Deluxe class and Voyager class.
The Prime toyline is confusing and/or disturbing everyone. That's how you know Hasbro's doing a good job marketing!
On a related note, I've found a way to easily distinguish the latest toyline from the old RiD series. We've had TF Prime First Edition (TFPFE), now we have Prime Robots In Disguise Edition. TF PRIDE! Just imagine the fabulous Knockout redeco we could get!
Oooh I like this idea. Although, it's a bit ironic that the RID line, which isn't as good as the FE, is the one called PRIDE.
