Optimus Prime is my first toy of TF2 movie.
It took me lots of time to decorat it.
And I also made a short animation of transforming process.(has not drawn silver line yet)
    Hope you like it.

How did you do the silver lining on the flames?

Looks great, just two questions. How did you achieve those pinstripes so well and how did you paint the detail/gears behind his windows/windshield? I've been trying to figure it out but I'm nervous I might ruin the strings.

    Very impressive.

Would you consider modifying the inside of the legs to make them more accurate:

Y'know, looking again at the slick paint work, you're definitely not new to this. Did you customize other things before TF's, if you don't mind me asking?

This is excellent! If I may offer some humble constructive criticism, would it be okay if you slowed down the animation in that .gif? As is, it happens so fast, it's almost as confusing as one of ILM's actual CGI animations. Slowing it down a bit would allow us to see the hard work you put into your stop-motion animation.

    真的是漂亮了!
The sensitivity to the paint application is amazing, especially on the chest and feet.

It was all airbrushed, isn't it?

This is really good, you've put details in places people seem to ignore on their repaints, great work.

I just chose a thinnest brush to draw the lines, one by one.
It's the only way I know to do that.

I opened only one side of windshield and painted the gears.
so I can check the structure by the other side when I put the gears back,
and then finished the other side in the same way.

Oh~I think that is too difficult to me.

Here is the truck mode pic.
I have not drew silver line yet when I shot it.

My original purpose of making this animation is I want to show how amazing this toy can do.
I thought the toy designers in Hasbro had finished a extraordinary job.

    Thank you so much
    I don't have airbrush,yet.

I think maybe it's perfect in photographs only.
My hand still shook when I draw it.

I think he means he dissassembled one side, painted it, reassembled it by using the other side as a guide, then did the same with the other side after putting the first back together
