hello tfw I was wondering about how much my friend's G1 jetfire would be worth. It has a few porblems such as...
    1. plastic is yellowed kind of bad (enough to see it's yellowed but not to the point being unable to tell it's supposed to be white.)
    2. one of the arm armor peices is broken.
    3. some of the stickers are coming off.
    4. gun is missing the missle.
    now for the good things.
    1. all the joints are nice and tight.
    2. all the peices (except the missle) are included.
    3. he was kept in a safe place and has no bent peices (such as antenna/guns on the head, and wings.)
    4. no paint chips
    5. landing gear gimmick still works.
hopefully that is enough information for you guys to decide a good price on him.
P.S. I AM NOT SELLING HIM THIS IS FOR A FRIEND! thank you :)

I have a MIB Jetfire, and it is not missing a "missile".

    Jetfire (1985) - Autobot Air Guardian - www.tfu.info
    *no missile*

Me personally, for that, i wouldn't pay any more than $70-80.

the good news is that it wouldn't take much (or long) to restore that figure.

but Pics would be nice to really understand what you got.

To note that Matsushiro Jetfire DO come with missiles.

    And they shoot too. ;)

Apparently they didn't ALL come with missiles, because I'm 98% sure the one I had as a child didn't come with a missile either (meaning I have no memory of it, and I was extremely careful and anal with my toys back then- if there'd been something as obvious as a missile I would have noticed it and used it).

I DO remember some bizarre black ?holster? thing the gun handle could fit into that i could never figure out what to do with it.

EDIT: As I look more at "Matsushiro", I'm begining to think you're talking about a different toy perhaps???

thanks for tackling that one. that thread does pop up from time to time.

as for that other Jetfire toy mentioned, i honestly had not seen one and as far as i know the Hasbro Jetfire i saw in stores lacked the missile.

the gun clip attachment allowed the gun to clip onto the arm of Jetfire.
i still have mine, and am really paranoid about losing it, lol.

Apparently, only 300 or so Matsushiro Jetfires were produced before the more common ones started appearing on retail shelves back then. Subsequent Jetfires doesn't contain this "missile-firing" mechanism. :)
