I was looking at the IDW Drift concepts and that got me thinking; We already have two forms of Transformer Universe in the form of "Classic Series" and "25th anniversary" and that got me thinking; There is the potential for "Hearts Of Steel series" "Reign Of Starscream series" and maybe even the Infiltration, Escalation, Devastation and Revelations will see figures coming out in the Universe line. I know its unlikely but it is possible  

 

I've always wanted some Heart of steel figures made the War Within got some so why not HOS?

were you referring to the Titaniums? i would like in the Universe yout line to see deluxe size WW or HoS figs myself. i hope i am not alone here, but wish hasbro would dump those real gear TFs, the lame gadgetformers to expand the Universe line. I liked the Expanded Universe line in Star Wars, and TFs should follow that model.

As for designs from comics, the Titanium line showed Hasbro are open to the idea. But then the Titanium line was cancelled. Maybe if WW Grimlock and Prowl do well?

I don't see why Hasbro should make so many sub lines when they could just put them all into the classics series. ROS doesn't even need a toyline.

From the panel it seems like we might see the IDW-Verse in Universe

 

Or at least one character.   how much further, who knows. It'll be interesting to see how Drift is lumped though.

Drift looks like a Toyota

 

1) The idea has merit, it's similar too Gi Joe now (first 25th, now it covers comics, international, cartoon, etc.) Universe could be the same
2) For example:
comics: Straxus, Impactor, IDW designs, Sunstorm,
cartooon: Defcon, Elita One, Arcee, Quintisons
international: Star Sabre, Deathsaurus, Dinoforce, Breast Force, Apex Armor upgrade for Prime
anniversery: US G1 characters (hopefully, if the panel is right, Wheeljack, Headmasters, Targetmasters,

 

HOS characters would be awesome. Especially the seekers.

Just a thought, but I'd kinda like Headmaster figures that have their own head as well as the Headmaster partner. I never liked the idea that the TF was basically stuck in vehicle mode without his partner.

 

Oooh, yes. Flip the head down into the chest and it reveals a Headmaster connect slot underneath. I'm sure many kids lost the heads back then and the toy then lost its appeal too because of it.

 

I'd love Hardhead and Brainstorm to come out in Universe.

 

If they do hearts of steel the first thing they need to make is that awesome steam locomotive Optimus Prime. Then we can talk about shockwave and seekers.
