Honestly, I'd rather have test questions like this one than the boring crap I get all the time.

 

Not gonna lie here. I didn't think anywhere near that deep when making my post (I was just looking for an excuse to troll subtly), but I think you've got a point. While certain staples will likely remain, I read modern shit like Enders Game & Phantom Tollbooth as part of my curriculum, so why not Harry Pothead? Heck, I had a teacher read that shit to us before it went big, so...  

 

1. Why did the animals eat the pineapple?
e. there is no way to tell from the story why they ate the pineapple

2. Who was the wisest?
e. this is a matter of opinion

3. Before the race, how did the animals feel toward the pineapple?
a. Suspicious

4. What would have happened if the animals had decided to cheer for the hare?
d. They would have been happy to have cheered for a winner.

5. When the moose said that the pineapple has some trick up its sleeve, he means that the pineapple
b. wants to show the animals a trick (providing they meant the crow not the moose)
