...sometimes are not who you think they really are:

Ottawa bomb suspect linked to Hells Angels | Canada | News | Toronto Sun

I used to see this guy on a regular basis, bought lots of used video games and paintball equipement at a local pawn shop he used to work at. Went there this morning and asked the owner where Chad was and that's how I found out he's the area's infamous car bomber that is facing charges.

    Crazy!

    Wow. That is insane.

A few years ago, my dad was working with a guy in this furniture store (he's a salesman) and one day right out of the blue the cops showed up and arrested him. Turned out he'd blown a guy's face off a few months earlier and had been on the run ever since. You just never know...

No kidding. I thought he was a genuinely nice guy, shame to see that he took a few wrong turns too many in life.

Kinda reminds me of my best friend in elementary school, who seemed like a relatively normal kid, but many years later I found out he was arrested for having a bunch of child porn stuff on his computer.

They have tried to put on a better public face over the last 10 years or so, but the came from a very very violent beginning.

Very sad indeed, poor guy found out he had cancer and estranged from his kids.. guess he thought he had nothing to live for.. that's when you really need to call a friend or even a "hot line" just somebody to talk to, not blow up stuff, cars, people. :(

That's very sad, but I can't help but think that planning to hurt others is a very selfish direction to take no matter what the circumstances :(

    You know whats crazy?
I thought the Guardian Angels were bad. It's only through my Social 30 textbook that I found out that they were the good guys.
Such a shame about him. Seemed like a great guy. Hopefully, the sentence isn't too harsh.

Dont be surprised these type of guys seem like well adjusted ppl.

Back during n&p discussion days i posted this interview with some guys who were in a sect (abu sayaf) responsible for the bali bombing n it turns some of the guys were from my alma mater, same hometown same housing estate as i was when i was a student. They can just be regular folks living next door with wife n kids, tending their garden or washing their car n shit, buy they apparently had that switch in their head that turns them to certain cause n they go about it just u n i at our day jobs. None of that paranoid/maniacal/hysterical zeal u see in movie caricatures.

I mean, these guys may have even gone to college n stuff so its not like theyre gullible cuz theyre dumb, n theyre not necesarily some social reject with no family ties. The most scariest thing is not the end result of their doing but the fact some of these dudes are just like us regular folk.

    Dun DUN /law n order

These do not sound like the actions of a 'great guy'. Trust no one.

Similar thing happened to me. A guy I went to HS with was a very nice guy. A few years ago my mom asks me if I remember him, then hands me the paper. He had been arrested on child porn. Sunday I was working and ran into another guy I went to school with shows up and we got to talking about how the other guy was now in federal prison. The guy I just ran into now grows medicinal marijuana.

Wow, you never really know....A girl I actually dated in high school was arrested a few years ago for check fraud and identity theft. She was such a goody-two-shoes back then....another guy who I knew for years from high school and judo is serving time for molesting the boys he was babysitting.

Of people from school/college/work I've known two murderers (one potential cannibal among them), one double attempted murderer and one paedophile. Nice town!
