Does anyone else watch this show??

I watch it and I enjoy it. I'd never thought I'd be into ghost shows like this because I would get very scared at night when I was little!!! But now, I love this show! It's so fun to watch and get scared.

Never even heard of this show, but just looked up clip of it.

Are you friggin kidding me? It's a kids version of Ghost Hunters, only they get all jumpy over a piece of dust flying in front of them. Then a 12 year-old attempts to disect the "evidence" and thinks he's being scientific because he saw a ghost instead of a piece of dust...*facepalm* of a whole new magnitude.

No thanks. I need what few brain cells I have left.

No, partially out of principle and partially due to the fact that I hate ghost investigation shows in general. If a show's promo starts off with one of the stars saying "We're doing a legitimate investigation", I can already tell I'm not going to enjoy it:lol

    This. This very thing.
I wonder how the whole 'CN Real' thing is working out for Cartoon Network.
These live action shows where you basically have a guy with a camera following people around outside are very cheap to produce.
But are they so cheap that they cover a drop in viewers?

This CN Real is an entire block of time where Cartoon Network is basically a deleted channel for us. We used to tune into Cartoon Network (or at least consider tuning into it) during that time frame a lot.
At first I didn't want my son to watch The Othersiders but he ended up watching it with his cousin's and made the determination that he just didn't like it.

The other day he turned on Cartoon Network and it was Slamball (My God, Slamball?!?? Are these new "games" or reruns from Spike?)
He asked me what it was and I basically said "it's basketball on trampolines" and he said "Cool" but within five minutes he had turned on Nicktoons.
I asked him if he didn't like Slamball and he just shrugged his shoulders and said, "I want to watch cartoons."

I understand the business end of getting shows that are cheap and fit in your business model, but if those shows turn your network into a channel that people who used to be your core audience no longer consider watching is it really worth it?

It's amazing because my kids have watched the cartoon movies like Foster's House of Blues over and over again -sometimes twice in one day.
But Spider-man, Son of the Mask, Ace Ventura Jr., and all of this CN Real crap has never been on for more than 5 minutes.

Outside of Adult Swim, CN is slowly turning into MTV. A channel that's intended (and even mentioned in their name) for a particular media format and doesn't show a thing of it.

Unfortunately Adult Swim is largely guilty of that too. :(

True - but at least they have cartoons that aren't geared towards kids (not that it's a bad thing, mind you - it is a cartoon network after all).

The only exception popping up in my mind is Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Everything else on CN seems geared towards the 10 year-old market and even those don't last. My nephew is 11 and won't watch anything on CN anymore.

Exactly my point. The new cartoons aren't that great, thus the channel is trying out these non-cartoon shows - eventually falling into the MTV trap. A music channel that shows no music.

    True.
But it's not just MTV anymore.
Spike, G4, hell even CMT gain a name then show anything that has a guaranteed viewership\ad revenue ratio.

    Cops on G4?

Mind if I ask your age?
I just want to see if I have my views because I am the old guy that grew up on Looney Tunes.

I love Chowder and Clone Wars.

Let's not forget Nickelodeon in all of this mess. It's basically become the "24-hour Spongebob Squarepants and iCarly" channel.

I fucking HATE Miranda Cosgrove. No human being can ever have a face like that; it's hideous.

    Dear Cartoon Network,

Your new non-cartoon shows suck. (Although Brain Rush is tolerable)

Leave the ghost hunting to SyFy. (And I'm about to send THEM a letter about their name)

    And fire the drug-addled """musician""".

    -Sage

I disagree. Chowder and Flapjack are hilarious.

But the other cartoons? Cartoon Network, please...PLEASE stop airing Teletoon stuff. Really.

    I beg you.

Total Drama Whatever is barely tolerable. At times.

6 Teen makes me want to hurt things.

Stoked's commercials make my ears bleed, and my eyes cry tears of pain from the art.

I love this. Oh, and my 20 year old cousin watched it, and in the first five minutes, craped himself
