Actually, thats him flying I think. Graphics are bad I know. Tough to tell. But pretty sure they all transformer from vehicle to bot and all the bots can fly.

You mean most C64 games. Computer games were hard as hell back then. Nothing like the pansy ass stuff we get now.

For some reason he recorded three and a half minutes of the opening screen.

The game looks rather unplayable, and silly.

    Holy cow!!!!!

That looks really really bad, and the music is even worse. I am glad I did not have a Commodore 64, though I remember wanting one to play that game.

Yeah that game was/is horrible. Thank God for Turrican on the C64 though, not really Transformers, but kinda like a Tf and I remember Turrican 2 having the TF:TM soundtrack in it.

That's the same as the old Sinclair Spectrum game I own. It is very hard to play, if you fall off a ledge, you die, if you touch anything while flying, you die. If you stop flying a pixel too high, you die.

I can't remember the scrolling, but having the Y axis offset so far to the sides makes it so hard to follow what is actually going on. Not to mention if an enemy is just off screen you'll never see them until you actually run into them.

I'm glad I did. I learned so much from that computer as it's the first one my family owned.

And I too played this game to death. It was extremely frustrating, but fun at the same time. Like TILALLR1 said, he's just flying, they all were able to do that.

It was. I never owned a C64. Back it the day it was Apple //. However I played the game on a relative's C64. Once. The Youtube was just as crappy as I remember it.

Thankfully there were some great games that came out around the same time which kept us occupied. After getting frustrated with Transformers, I'd boot up
Below the Root (my all time favorate c64 game) and reclaim my sanity.

When your a little kid, and in love with a particular TV show, you'll suffer great legnths in order to experence your hero's world. This was one of those senario's for me.

There was another Transformers game that came out later for the c64, I think it featured the season 3 cast but I'm not completely sure. I tried to play it a few times but I could never get it to work properly.
