Guys I need your help, a friend of mine seems to think that the original movie was released in Japan earlier than 1989. Is he wrong or right?
Is there anyway of actually proving that? He isn't the easiest person in the world to convince. Take a look at http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?showtopic=50816&st=1000&start=1000 to see what I'm on about.
Nothing other then logic unfortunately. Either that or buy Matrix Forever and show him the release date on the package The Japanes had to have gotten the movie in 1989, the Headmasters anime was released in 1987. And there we see Prowl who died a brutal death in the movie, and in 1989 the Victory anime had Wheeljack aiding Perceptor. And Wheeljack too died a pretty brutal death in the movie. The Japanese got the movie late...hence why some G1 characters showed up again. They animators never knew they died 3 years earlier
the movies late release is what started the two continuties between animated projects from G1 thru the Beast era. And don't get me started on Marvel's universe, where characters who died in the movie where still active and even returned to fight Unicron (Prowl, Ratchet, any other character that Underbase Starscream took out of commision)
I suggest gunning him down and then after that, his family. Isn't it great....violence solves ALL kinds of problems, hahaha.
