    I know this name has puzzled many, and I happened to discover the origin of the name completely by chance. Just so you know. I am not making this up.

    The Goonies was on FMC earlier and before each commercial break there was a random fact about the movie. One fact was about the asian kid (forgot his name). They said his first movie was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. His character's name was Short Round.

    Yep. that's who short round is.
    hence all the
    "No time for love Optimus Prime" and
    "Cover your Matrix!" jokes.

    of course, I imagine the shortround toy will have little or nothing to do with the character.

    Unless his pilot is a little asian kid in a baseball cap. In which case I'll probably just laugh even harder.
