Maybe there has been a thread about this before, and if so, i'm gonna ask again: What has been the item you most regret having had an opportunity to purchase (or acquire) that you hummed and hawed about, subsequently DIDN'T get and now relentlessly kick yourself over having let it pass you by?

    For me, there's 2:
    - DRAGOYELL for like $200.00
    - BARRICADES LICENSE PLATE from the 2007 Movie. (Bidding went higher than I wanted BUT still really regret not picking it up)

    So? How bout choo?

Hasbro's release of Masterpiece Grimlock, though I'm not sure if I ever seen one in Toys R Us, which makes me not very confident about the distributions for the upcoming Optimus release.

The 80 dollar DOTM one? I still see him in retail once in a while.

I let G1 Overlord pass me by back when I was a kid; I didn't want to pester my granddad to buy me another toy, considering he had recently purchased me something else. Now, twenty years later, I finally own one.

You know, I only saw him once here (Jumped on it) and I think you're right to be skeptical about the Optimus

As silly as it sounds, Transmetal Rattrap. I saw it on clearance @ Zellers shortly after the line was ending, but held off because my parents tried leading me to believe that I was too old to be buying toys. I went back a few days later, but it was gone, and I'd regretted not buying the little guy for years until I finally picked up the reissue (thanks Tiller :) ) after joining TFW.

Right now during my active participation towards a G1 collection, I'm kicking myself for skipping on a lot of the Encore reissues. I try to always find original 80's figures, but some of the Encore stuff is better suited for my needs.

MOSC Bumblejumper listed as Cliffjumper for 200$ Buy-it-now. Was too late to jump on it and someone else bought it. :cry

Classics Devastator - The wife called me to ask if I wanted it. Sigh.

A virtually complete G1 Scorponok for $120 at TFcon last year. It had pretty much everything except Fasttrack.

Generations Red Alert. I only started collecting a little over a year ago and I saw him in stores and passed him up for WFC Megs only to never see that guy again. I still don't own that mold to this day...

I lost out on this Starscream (who has always been my favorite character btw).
Starscream Transformers G1 MIB Vintage 100% complete | eBay

I got this one instead. I think he was a decent deal. I saw it just after it was listed and it was a buy it now. It's not as nice as the one I lost but still not bad. The box is splitting in the upper right and he has some paint chipping.
Transformers Gen 1 Starscream 100% Complete* new in box NIB G1 1984 Hasbro NICE | eBay

EDIT: Just noticed that the same one that I lost out on is being re-sold for a lot more. Going to see if he'll take an offer. Probably not.

ROTF Jetfire I actually looked for him in the stores and never saw him, ever... didn't even know he came out until I actively got back into collecting last December so between him and SDCC Blaster are my next to "major" purchases. (Not including the current Prime wave deluxe/voyagers)

    EDIT:

Also all but 4 of the Commemorative Series. I bought Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, PM Optimus, and Starscream. I was then told that is all they are coming out with and the next time I went to a TRU was like 6 years later and missed the rest of them, I so wanted them and will eventually get them.

Also Universe, prowl, smoke screen, sidewipe, shit any of them from this line, I need them all including 5 of the 7 seekers and soundwave, and all the CHUG except Generations/RTS
