Any of you here got stories of toys you passed up? Only to regret it later?

I remember seeing Figma Leulouch some years ago back at one my local shops. He cost 38$ CDN...but I decided not to get him.

And there were countless times where I've wanted an item...passed him up...went back a week later wanting it, only to see that it was gone.

Marvel Legends starting with Wave 13. I passed all of these in the stores, even when a majority of them were on clearance. Now I got the Legends fire because DCUC can't hit retail fast enough, and MLs aren't very cheap.

Transformer related: TRU reissue G1 Optimus and Alternators Swerve. Only saw them once again, and never again.

Any of the Beast Wars and Machine Wars figures when they first came out. I hadn't yet become a big Transformer collector and was on the fence about starting. I'd see them all the time and always thought, "maybe next paycheck." Then when I finally decided to jump in, they were gone.

The Hulk and Abomination figures from The Incredible Hulk movie toy line. Now that I'm starting to collect Marvel action figures, I regret not getting them when they were out. Marvel Universe Hulk just seems too small, and I actually prefer the movie's take on Abomination in comparison to the more classic look for him. I'm hoping to either be able to find them for a decent price now, or that both will get re-released/remade in a future Marvel themed movie's toy line. Like the Avenger's movie, or a sequel to The Incredible Hulk.

When 2006 Classics first came out, I was at a TRU and it had Prime and Megatron. I only had enough money on me for one, so I got Prime and figured I'd get Megs the next time I went.

That was the only time I ever saw Classics Megatron.

Also the NECA Ryu Hyabusa figure. Though I don't remember where I saw it I decided not to buy it and it was gone forever. >.>

Always. When I get something, I always regret not getting the other, so when I find an opportunity to get the other, I get it, only to regret not getting a DIFFERENT THING. Yea, it's sad.

DCUC. I remember seeing the first wave at a Wal-Mart and being like "pfft, Marvel Legends rip off".

Never saw a single toy in the line again until hobby store started getting them.

Oh, definitely lots of Marvel Legends, Cinema of Fear stuff, the Night HE Came Home boxed set, and a couple Sideshow Slasher stuff at my local comic store.
Actually, it's all mainly slasher stuff.

WAAAYYY back when I was a kid my family was out shopping and a bunch of Return of the Jedi stuff was on clearance. My dad was feeling nice (that or it was a REALLY good sale) and offered to buy me an Imperial Shuttle and a B-Wing. For some dumbass reason, I turned it down.

I only saw the TMNT figure Scratch only once for $5. My parents didnt want to get it that day. That's the last time I ever saw one. To this day, that is the only TMNT figure I never got.

I passed up on the Lego Batman Batcave in TK Maxx.... now looking at the prices they go for, I learned my lesson.
